 Brian "BSKi" Collazo is one of the hottest singers on the NYC music scene. Brian is most well known as frontman for Live Society, a band that recorded three albums together and were fixtures on the indie NYC circuit regularly performing at notable stages like The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall, among others.
BSKi's latest EP "Keep It Light" was produced by Greg Mayo (Bernhoft, Brooklyn Sugar Co.). At times blending Latin rhythms with 90's R&B, Funk & Hip-Hop, he adds a tongue-in-cheek lyrical approach for a uniquely personal record. "Both musically and lyrically, these songs sound and feel more like me than anything I've ever done," Brian says.
Brian's band includes Greg Mayo (guitar), Anthony Candullo (bass), John Roggie (keys), Eric Brown (drums/vox) and Anthony Almonte (percussion/vox).

 Saxophonist Eric Person is setting a new standard in sound and his band Meta-Four is nothing short of dynamic.
For over twenty years, Eric has been committed to composing, recording and performing contemporary American music. He plays the alto and soprano sax and the flute and is featured as a leader and sideman on more than 30 recordings. His broad range of experience with Dave Holland, McCoy Tyner, Chico Hamilton, Ronald Shannon Jackson, the World Saxophone Quartet, and John Hicks, have all contributed greatly to his mature alto and soprano sound and his skills as an arranger and composer.
His CD, "Thoughts On God" received rave reviews and John Murphy, of Downbeat Magazine, gave it 4 ½ stars.

Hudson Valley natives Gregory Charlemagne, Jon Rosado, and Christian Torres are coming home! The Platform will be playing host to a Homecoming reunion, and all are invited to take part in the occasion.
Story, Charlemagne will be returning to Beacon, but this time with some help. For the first time ever he will be playing some of his classic songs with a full band (accompanied by Jon and Christian of Nimbus Knight).

 12 Grapes Kids Open Mic is a showcase for talented musicians and singers ages 6 - 17. It's one of the longest running Open Mics for young people in Westchester.
Sing solo or with a band. Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play. We provide a drum kit, keyboard, amps and microphones. iPod backing music can be accommodated, however internet connection not available, so please have your song pre-set.
Our Kids Open Mic has become a popular favorite, and is always full of surprises and incredible talent. Come to perform or just come to listen!
Sign-up begins at 5:30. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Every month, we offer a $10 Burger special for kids 12 & under. Bring the entire family and enjoy a night of great food and great musical fun. Please make dinner reservations early, as we often sell out.

Bring your chair or blankets and a picnic and enjoy live music from Beacon artist, Jill Hartmann. Raised in Louisiana and the child of two musical families, Jill began singing at a very young age. Her first concrete passion aside from singing was poetry, writing volumes of verse starting from the time she was 8 years old which would inevitably aid in her songwriting in later years. Eventually she would attend Louisiana State University for poetry but along the way, her true love of music made its way back into her life. At the age of 20, Jill started teaching herself how to play the guitar, emulating such legendary folk finger-pickers as Joni Mitchell. The result is a unique and immediately identifiable style all her own.
