Peekskill, NY   See Map
Keith Emerson and Greg Lake recently left our world but the music they created as Emerson, Lake & Palmer lives on.

ELP had 9 Gold Record Albums, and sold over 48 million records worldwide. Their work qualified not only for rock history, but classical music history!

Tonight, three musicians pay tribute to the legend that is Emerson Lake & Palmer -- Artie Walker on vocals, bass and guitar, Robert Fertitta on keyboards and Chris Peterson on Percussion.

We don't hear ELP songs played live very often, so we're really looking forward to favorites like Fanfare for the Common Man, Jerusalem, Still You Turn Me On, Trilogy, Lucky Man and more.

Join us for this very special night!

Ellen Kaye, Ethan Fein, Lawrence Feldman It's hard to catch the wind; the freedom of the highway, and the psychedelic insanity that was 1974. Ellen Kaye is tackling all three in her new run at Silvana. Two years after Watergate, two weeks after Nixon resigns and Ford takes office, America is pulling out of Vietnam, Shirley Chisolm has recently run for President. The Black Panthers, The Weather Underground, The Symbionese Liberation Army and Patty Hearst, and Angela Davis are the news as Ellen begins hitchhiking cross country - adventures good and bad, and a two year residency on Harts Island - it's a quintessential tale of some badass days and nights. Thank God Ethan Fein is on guitar. Lawrence Feldman is on reeds . And Seth Goldman is keeping score. Blues/Folk

Saugerties Reformed Chuch
173 Main St.
Saugerties, NY   See Map
Our 12th year of bring the best music to the beautiful parks of Saugerties! This month, we present a seasoned Woodstock songwriter and a Poughkeepsie native on the big front porch of the Saugerties Reformed Church parsonage on Main St.

In 2007, Grammy Nominated record producer and singer/songwriter Doug Yoel relocated to Woodstock and experienced a creative renewal, writing and developing a sound that blends organic roots, blues and vintage rock; with classic country heartbreak; and sweetened with bits of soul and reggae.

Through clever, witty rhymes and unexpected chord changes, Kiriaki's listeners are always moved between tears and smiles as they watch the intimate relationship between her and the piano.

In case of rain, we'll move the show up into the sanctuary of the Reformed Church

with Karma Darwin
Rock (progressive)
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Karma Darwin made their 12 Grapes debut last January, and absolutely blew us away! This progressive new band mixes high energy sound and harmonies with smooth vibrant riffs. You'll hear original music, laced by Pink Floyd, and then they'll thrown in an Amy Winehouse song just to keep us on our toes. Says the band, "We don’t restrict ourselves and that allows us to play rock, indie, reggae and mix all these together to make our own sound."

The Poughkeepsie Journal writes, "This band is more about fun than formalities. They play hard rock. They season their songs with hints of a Caribbean island groove that evokes sunsets and sand. They are a catalyst for dancing."

Karma Darwin is Ryan Lowry on drums, Alex Peterson on guitar, John Newton on bass, and Drew Stubbs-Stroud on guitar/vocals. Their vocal harmonies are reminiscent of 50's and 60's style rock-n-roll with a breath of new life.
