 Film Documentary "Down & Dirty" Director Greg Olliver was welcomed into the Johnny Winter family during the final two years of Johnny's life, capturing the making of his Grammy-winning recording, "Step Back" (Best Blues Album, 2015), and traveling the world - from Beaumont TX to Hong Kong. Winter continued to perform over 200 sold out shows a year until his death on tour in Switzerland in 2014.
The Johnny Winter Band has been wowing audiences everywhere with incredible music played by Johnny's band and guest artists. Hammond organ and piano are Judd's specialty. He has performed with a plethora of artists and bands spanning different genres in New Orleans and New York. It is no wonder the late B.B. King and the late Levon Helm were big fans. Suter and her band have played nearly 100 of Helm’s shows in Woodstock NY and opened for “The King” when he visited her hometown of NYC.

While harmonic patterns and rhyme styles have evolved over the decades, we are not afraid to experiment with tradition. Our goal is to make the oldest songs sound fresh, and to make the newest feel like you've always known them.
Most remarkable of all is how little many of the themes have changed - peace, poverty, and justice were the heart of the movements then, and still are today. Our unique combination of musical sensibilities produces a new voice that adds one more link in the chain.

 Throughout his 20 years in NYC, composer/drummer Roland Vazquez, continued to develop his "funky-salsa-bebop" style with unique compositions for octet, quintet, and big band on his critically acclaimed albums; which collectively feature performances by a veritable "who's who" of East and West Coast contemporary jazz artists. As a member of Clare Fischer's all-star band "Salsa Picante", he played on that group's Grammy winning "Salsa Picante 2+2."
As jazz faculty at Manhattan School of Music and the University of Michigan, he taught ensembles, jazz composition, and "Music of the Afro Latin Diaspora". Roland received a grant from the Aaron Copland Fund for Music to record "The Visitor" (2009) featuring his all-star NYC jazz orchestra.

 Yonkers native and practicing attorney, Michael Attanasio, has been singing for more than 40 years. As a child he learned Sinatra songs through osmosis by listening to his father's records. In his teens he discovered Joe Cocker, Chicago, Led Zeppelin, Santana, Clapton and the Allman Brothers. He spent time in a rock band but before the 70's ended he became captivated by Sara Vaughan, Al Jarreau and Joe Sample. Then came years singing in church, his soulful solos inspiring many. Michael's eclectic tastes are evident in his set list, drawing from the jazz standards of his Sinatra era father and those of his 60's and 70's music awakening period.  Drew Bordeaux has opened for Daughtry and Boz Scaggs and performed at the 2016 Pleasantville Music Fest. Catch this up-close-and-personal performance.
Drew's sets are rooted in percussive acoustic guitar and earthy/soulful vocals, laced with live loops and violin solos. Drew meshes together core influences including classics like Fleetwood Mac and BB King to Talking Heads and Stone Temple Pilots -- with contemporaries like Mumford and Sons and Hozier to Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. The resulting sound is often considered a mix of Ben Harper and Jimi Hendrix, his vocals reminiscent of Eddie Vedder and Darius Rucker.
Drew's performed at an impressive list of venues, including Bostons the Middle East and Sanders Theater, and NYCs the Bitter End, Ace of Clubs, and CBGB, and is a 12 Grapes favorite.

Released in 1977, Elegant Gypsy was the follow-up album to Di Meola’s debut release. The distinctive music on the album is a fusion of jazz and rock, with Di Meola’s lightening-fast guitar riffs intermixed with lyrical acoustical passages. The album was named Best Guitar Album in Guitar Player magazine and is regarded as a masterpiece in the rock-jazz music genre. 
This hotly anticipated inaugural event features many of the Hudson Valley's most celebrated actors, poets and storytellers who know how to groove n' flow with the incredibly gifted musicians that makeup the Jazzoetry Quartet. The evening will move in and out of time with jazz instrumentals and vocals and poets improvising with the quartet.
Jazzoeetry Quartet features: Kitt Potter - Vocals/Spoken Word, Eric Person - Sax, Reeds and Flute, Neil Nail Alexander - Piano, Robert Kopek - Bass, Dean Sharp - Percussion.
