 Chubby took his cue from artists of the '60s, including Sly & the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton, among others. In his early twenties, he worked for a while backing punk poet Richard Hell. Chubby's first big break was winning a national blues talent search sponsored by KLON, a public radio station in Long Beach, California. He won New Artist of the Year, and opened the Long Beach Blues Festival in 1992, and has been rocking audience with his bold approach to music ever since.
Chubby continues to play more than 200 club dates a year, and has released numerous albums worldwide, since. Most notably, his Sony/Okeh debut, 'Booty and the Beast', was produced by longtime Atlantic Records engineer/producer TOM DOWD, whose recordings by Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, among others are legendary! |

Vocalist Valerie Not Val You (a.k.a. DaQueenV) sings gospel (her first love) at several venues including her well known Mount Olivet Baptist church in Peekskill. As an R&B/Soul/Jazz singer, Valerie’s 2014 performance at the Cutting Room in Manhattan (accompanying Mrs. Eve Soto) has been the catalyst for a lifelong dream .
Bria the Artist is a member of the R&B group Eclectic Paradise which performs at venues around New York including, but not limited to, The Hudson Room and The Bean Runner Cafe, She expects to release her first EP in 2017.

Originally from the Bronx NY, Gregory Charlemagne was raised in Wappingers Falls. While in college, he began to share a few years of cooped up guitar playing and songwriting. Upon his return home, he began visiting open mics and events to expand his love of performing. Gregory's pure vocals, melodies and creative songwriting enhance an ideal personal experience for his audience.

 Matisyahu first made a name for himself with his album 'Live at Stubbs,' and 'Youth' quickly followed. Both albums subsequently went Gold and 'Youth' was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. 2009's 'Light' reached #1 on the Reggae Albums chart and stayed in the top spot for 34 weeks. His fourth studio album, 'Spark Seeker,' also debuted at #1 on the Reggae chart, marked his relocation from Brooklyn to Los Angeles and found him working with Dr. Luke protégé KoOoL Kojak.
'Akeda' (out June 3, 2014), Matisyahu's fifth studio album, was written both in Matisyahu's Los Angeles home and while on tour. Matisyahu states, "This record and period of my life deal with madness, listening for and following the inner intuitive voice, a small still sound. This record deals with love, with feelings of brokenness and humility, with humanity, struggle, and sacrifice."

This evening is devoted to the works of Tito Puente, sometimes called the "King of Latin Jazz" or simply "El Rey" ("The King"), who made an indelible mark on Latin and popular culture. In addition to recording more than 100 albums, garnering Grammy nominations and Awards, and creating more than 200 compositions, Puente was and continues to be a highly revered musical legend in Latin music and jazz circles.

The Hudson River Valley's boundless music scene is home for singer/songwriter/guitarist Pat O’Shea. The former sideman continues to impress with his well-crafted songs and strong musicianship. His resume is equally impressive and includes six years playing guitar for the legendary Levon Helm, countless shows backing Blues greats James Cotton and Hubert Sumlin, as well as collaborations with Jimmy Vivino (Conan O’Brien, The Fab Faux), David Johansen (The New York Dolls) and Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan) among others.
O’Shea’s songs are pure American music, influenced equally by heartland Country, down-home Blues and straight ahead Rock n Roll. His thoughtful lyrics, inspirational melodies and powerful arrangements will rock you hard, let you down easy and take you everywhere in between. |

 The group came into existence preparing songs for Aaron Professor Louie Hurwitz’s studio productions for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame group The Band and also solo projects for Rick Danko and Garth Hudson. When The Band dissolved in 2000, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix started touring and recording their own music.
Tonight they celebrate Rick Danko's birthday with special guests The Woodstock Horns, led by Dan Shaut.

 BSKi is the new solo project from Brian Collazo, frontman for Live Society, a band that recorded three albums together and were fixtures on the indie NYC circuit regularly performing at notable stages like The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall, among others. Brian has been a 12 Grapes favorite from our first hello, and we're excited to celebrate his EP Release.
BSKi's debut EP "Keep It Light" was produced by Greg Mayo (Bernhoft, Brooklyn Sugar Co.). At times blending Latin rhythms with 90's R&B, Funk & Hip-Hop, he adds a tongue-in-cheek lyrical approach for a uniquely personal record. "Both musically and lyrically, these songs sound and feel more like me than anything I've ever done," Brian says.
Brian's band includes Greg Mayo (guitar), Anthony Candullo (bass), John Roggie (keys), Eric Brown (drums/vox) and Anthony Almonte (percussion/vox).
