"Adam Falcon's rock-infused funk and pure soulful voice recall the most honest of '70s rhythm & blues....the best of Shuggie Otis, Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye." - JAZZIZ Magazine

Adam Falcon opened shows for James Cotton Blues Band, Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Tower of Power, and his journey continues. Writing a (second) song for the multi-Grammy winner George Benson, titled “True Blue,” got Falcon noticed by The Song Writers Hall of Fame, honoring him with the 2007 Abe Olman Scholarship Award for Songwriting.

"Small melodies frame the voice of a classic crooner with influences from Seal to Smokey Robinson, but when he gets his groove on....he makes an equally formidable impact.” - M-Music & Musicians

"The Light Shines" is Adam Falcon’s most recent effort. The EP, released in 2015, marks his fifth recording to date. The moods on this record will take you on a ride from New Orleans to the Caribbean and drop you off somewhere in the Delta.

"Straight from the Jackson Browne/James Taylor/ Eagles folk rock cloth comes Ron Kemp. Considered a classic "late bloomer", Ron began playing guitar at age 32. Over the years he has written well over 100 songs, many still yet to be heard. In 1995, he completed his first song, "'Til The End of Time". Since then, he's continued to pour his heart and soul into his lyrics which has been hailed as "honest" and "organic". Drawing from a wide range of musical tastes, his melodies are accessible and "hummable". Captured on Better Late Than Never, his most recent CD, are songs from the heart: love songs. Lyrically, Ron tends to write in an autobiographical manner, sharing his joys and pains through his music."

They can also be heard on Jon Batiste and Stay Human’s 2011 release, “My NY.”

The band has cultivated a presence in London, where they have performed, recorded with Grammy winning engineer Ricardo Damian (Uptown Funk), and garnered a faithful following within the London folk scene.

One floor below our world class venue, The Falcon Underground, New York Taproom & Beer Garden, hosts the Roots & Blues Sessions, and is the new home of the AVALON ARCHIVES Museum of Roots, Rock & Roll.

Gifted up-and-comers are heartily encouraged to sign up and sit-in!.This Session is creating a "home" for traditional blues and roots music with a strict "no pedals" policy/philosophy to keep it raw, and true to the original music.

Eighteen year old Guitar Slinger, Dylan Doyle, has been steeped in everything from Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, and Buddy Guy to Bob Dylan, Todd Snider and Jimi Hendrix and has been touring nationally since age fifteen. His unique musical interpretation lies somewhere between the delta of Rock, the Blues, and Funk.

“Dylan Doyle is a great young musician with the soul of an old bluesman.” – John Platania (Van Morrison's Guitarist)

“JOHNNY NICHOLAS IS ONE OF THE BEST BLUESMEN EVER, BLACK OR WHITE. ” ~ STEPHEN BRUTON

When it comes to Americana Roots Music and Blues, the late great Stephen Bruton (of Kris Kristofferson & T-Bone Burnett) knew what he was talking about. His description of his long time friend and musical comrade in arms is succinct and quite a heady compliment.

For four decades Johnny has performed with numerous Blues and Americana Roots legends. He was the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with the Grammy-winning Asleep at the Wheel, and gave Blues Guitar Icon Ronnie Earl his first gig in the now legendary band, Guitar Johnny and the Rhythm Rockers.

Austin-based Dobro and steel guitarist Cindy Cashdollar's career has led her to work with leading artists in various genres; including Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Dave Alvin, Rod Stewart, Asleep At The Wheel, Marcia Ball, Jorma Kaukonen, Leon Redbone, BeauSoleil, Daniel Lanois, Redd Volkaert, & Peter Rowan.

Soñando!The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
The hot Latin sounds of Soñando have earned them the reputation as the Hudson Valley's premier Latin band. This spicy blend of music and musicians have performed in clubs, at private functions, community festivals, benefit concerts, on radio and television, as well as the Puerto Rico Day Parade in NYC, but the band is at home wherever a dance floor can be cleared. Fueled by a fiery rhythm section and high-octane horns, Soñando plays a wide variety of Latin styles from Plena and Son to Salsa and Merengue!

"The name of the band is Spanish for "dreaming" but when the hordes come out for Soñando, they don't sleepwalk-they dance. And we're not talking a few perfunctory head-bobs or butt-wiggles, they dance until they go up in flames like, Tula's unquenchable bedroom in the Cuban lyrics above." -Woodstock Times

Funk steady groove with a touch of Blues
with Adam Falcon Trio
Funk, Jazz, and Blues. Soul, R&B
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Adam Falcon is a master guitarist and songwriter. And one of the most humble people we ever met. Adam once blogged, "Wrote a couple of songs that guitarist George Benson happened to cover." His music is "intimate and soulful". He'll have you riveted to your seat, while at the same time you won't stop moving to the groove.

Adam started recording at 16 and was one of NYC's most sought after session/touring guitarists. He worked with Will Downing, Sophie B. Hawkins, Roberta Flack, and the aforementioned George Benson, for whom he wrote "In Search Of A Dream" from the Grammy nominated album "In Your Eyes", also performing on the album.

"Falcon's adventurous mix of Soul, R&B and Funky Jazz is giving audiences and critics something to talk about." - Urban Network.

A Do-Not-Miss show!
