 Sundad is a World Fusion, New Age and acoustic Jam-Band, including father and son guitarists, John Eurell Sr. and John Eurell Jr. and other great musicians, whose original repertoire consists mainly of finger-style acoustic guitar instrumentals.
Sundad's 1st CD, Journey To Eternity, received a first round Grammy Nomination for 2005 Best Contemporary World Album.  Wali Ali unites the intimacy of folk music with the improvisation of jazz and the irresistible rhythms of R&B, and he invites the listener to explore new interpretations of contemporary melodies.
Wali has played guitar with various musical artists including Taj Mahal, Norman Connors, Donny Hathaway, Bobbi Humphrey, Melvin Van Peebles, Noel Pointer, Lonnie Liston Smith, Peter Tosh, and Stanley Turrentine. He has scored for television, and he was bandleader for the Broadway musical "Mule Bone". Wali is also the recipient of the ASCAP Songwriters Award.

 "Blues for Peace" is a grass roots movement of musicians, music promoters and music venues, or anybody who wants to be involved to promote peace.
Shadetree Mechanics is part of the movement, and will be performing at 12 Grapes in support of The "Blues for Peace Project", which is sanctioned by the United Nations.
This world-wide fundraiser will take place on May 27, 28, 29 and 30 in cities and towns around the globe. Blues for Peace has partnered with the USA for UNHCR, the U.N. Refugee Agency, and will be raising funds to assist refugees world-wide. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the U.N. in support of Human Rights around the world.
Shadetree Mechanics are 2015 NY and NJ Blues Hall of Fame inductees. The band features Michael "The Rev" Rochelle on lead vocals/guitar/washboard, "Elmo" John Lawson, Pat Gregor and Ray G.
$10 Cover, minimum, or higher donation will go towards supporting this worthy cause.

As a young child in the Bronx, Joe Giacoio was abandoned in a music store and raised by a pack of acoustical guitars. This explains a lot.
Joe has won awards for his strange guitar playing and even stranger songwriting. Crossroads Magazine writes, "Some people seem to have the ability to create music that is at the same time funny, serious and incredibly clever. Joe Giacoio is one of those people."

 Hudson Valley native Patty Smith performs regularly at various venues in the area, covering the likes of Van Morrison, Tom Waits, Emmylou Harris and Leonard Cohen, and doing Irish tunes and cool old country and folky stuff.
In from Madison WI, Helen Avakian is an award winning singer/songwriter and the 2014 International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion. She looks forward to sharing the evening with dear friends at the High Falls Cafe!
Pat Daleys’s music consists of fascinating guitar instrumental pieces on 6 and 12-string guitars, with a generous helping of slide guitar, a few song parodies, and other light-hearted pieces, all performed with Pat’s classic warmth and style.

 Don and Maureen Black have hosted this series for several months now, and it's well attended, so reservations are suggested. I'm thrilled to be on the same bill with my good friends and awesome performers Patty Smith and Helen Avakian. Helen lives in Wisconsin now, and became the first woman to win the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship since leaving "The 'Hud". But she's back for a week, and has a few gigs here, Patty's lovely vocals are a big hit in local venues, and I do quite a lot of fingerstyle myself (-: including some awesome 12-string slide instrumentals... if I do say so myself! :-). Great times at The High Falls Cafe! See you there!

Our Open Mics are hosted by the very talented and wonderful singer/songwriter, Jess Erick. Jess opens the night with her original songs, then keeps the music flowing and spirits high.

 The band consists of Brian Hollander, vocals and guitar; Tim Kapeluck, vocals and mandolin; Geoff Harden, vocals and bass; Guy ‘Fooch’ Fischetti on pedal steel and fiddle; and master of the banjo, Bill Keith. The band has been together over 14 years and has performed every Thursday in Woodstock for the last nine years. Traditional bluegrass, new songs, some jazz, old country classics, originals by the band and favorite writers like John Herald and Tom Pacheco, all dot the driving repertoire that is marked by sweet three part harmony.
