Since leaving Sonny Rollins band in 2009 Clifton has focused on creating a unique place for himself in the world of Jazz. His perseverance in the development of his playing, compositional writing and musical concepts have paid off. His identifiable sound and memorable compositions have drawn an ever expanding audience to his recordings and performances. In addition to his work with Rollins, Clifton has worked with an "A list" of musical luminaries including Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Keith Richards and Slide Hampton among others. Clifton's performances showcase a variety of swinging originals; high energy straight-ahead, calypsos, funk and American standards. Check out his latest CD, And So We Carry On, and be uplifted.

Come celebrate the arrival of spring with the Sunburst Brothers & the Cousins. Don and Phil (John Milward and Baker Rorick) will be joined by a couple of Cousins from the Sunburst Orchestra (Chuck Cornelis on string bass and Larry Packer on violin) for two sets of acoustic country, blues, rock, and soul. No cover, and no bad songs.
Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester. 
I start out solo then I'm joined by a few friends.

THE LEVINS (pronounced LeVINNs) offer harmony-driven acoustic music that is warm and uplifting without skating over the complexities of life. Guitar, piano and voices provide a full sound with unexpected harmonies and unique arrangements. Their albums have garnered invitations to collaborate and perform nationally and in Amsterdam and England. Their music speaks the universal language of hope and reconciliation.
Rooted in the tradition of activist folk music, Hudson Valley Sallie has an unending chain that goes back centuries and spans the globe. We are dedicated to keeping alive some of the oldest songs, and introducing some of the newest. In fact, each set typically includes some songs more than a century old and some less than a year old.
While harmonic patterns and rhyme styles have evolved over the decades, we are not afraid to experiment with tradition. Our goal is to make the oldest songs sound fresh, and to make the newest feel like you've always known them.
Most remarkable of all is how little many of the themes have changed - peace, poverty, and justice were the heart of the movements then, and still are today. Our unique combination of musical sensibilities produces a new voice that adds one more link in the chain.
