![]() Vignola worked as a sideman for artists like Leon Redbone and Madonna, and led his famed Hot Club of France tribute band in New York City in the late 1980s. His virtuosity has made him a guitarist of choice for many musicians, including Ringo Starr, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel and Mark O' Connor. An extremely versatile jazz guitarist, Frank Vignola has demonstrated his capabilities, playing everything from fusion and commercial pop-jazz to hard bop, post-bop, and swing. The native New Yorker has a wide variety of influences; from Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and Pat Metheny to Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian. | ||

![]() Tony arrived in New York in 1979 and became soloist for renowned trumpeter and orchestra leader Alfredo 'Chocolate' Armenteros. Their album, Prefiero el Son, recorded with S.A.R. Records, went gold. His years with Chocolate included group concerts, where he worked alongside music greats such as Roberto Torres, Linda Leida, Papaito, Alfredito de la Fe, Alfredo Valdes, Jr. and Marino Solano. In 1987, he became the lead singer for José Fajardo y Sus Estrellas. It was the legendary flutist and band leader, José Antonio Fajardo who gave Tony his title: El Leon del Bolero. Tony has performed in concerts with Willie Chirino, Ray Baretto, David Valentino, Cachao, Hansel y Raul, Tito Puente and Johnny Pacheco. He continues to delight audiences with his unique voice and mastery of the bolero. Admission $10 | ||
