 Formed while preparing songs for Aaron “Professor” Louie Hurwitz’s studio productions for The Band and have been the studio backing group for solo CD's by Rick Danko and Garth Hudson.
Recording six of their own studio CD's and two live recordings on The Woodstock Records label, their titles include; “Whispering Pines”, “Century Of The Blues” and “As the Crow Flies” comprising new originals and songs from their previous recordings, most requested by fans and radio stations.
The group has the distinct honor of being the first artists with a live concert recording released by The New York State Museum entitled “The Spirit Of Woodstock”.
They have been featured artists on syndicated radio shows, Acoustic Cafe, E-Town, WAMC/NPR’s Live at the Linda, The Mitch Albom Radio Show & Woodsongs Radio Hour and appeared on CBS’s Television’s “Melodies Of Christmas” performing their international award winning song “Melody Of Peace", with The Empire State Orchestra and Choir. |

 Few bands have ever reached the musical heights of Jay & the Americans. From 1962 to 1971, this group charted an amazing twelve Top Ten records. With three original band members, including Sandy Deanne, Howie Kane and Marty Sanders, plus vocalist Jay Reincke, their greatest hits never sounded better!
Jay & the Americans' first recording was Tonight (from the musical West Side Story); but their breakout-hit song was She Cried. The group's next chart hit was Only In America, followed by top-ten hits Come A Little Bit Closer, Cara Mia, and This Magic Moment. These songs and many others are featured in their performances, along with stories of the artists and writers who influenced this 1960s super-group.

 Jory Nash, singer, songwriter, guitarist, banjo-player, pianist, storyteller and all-around terrific entertainer will be crossing the Canadian border to share his talents with us. His last CD - Little Pilgrim was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award (his second nomination!). His 2009 album New Blue Day was named Penguin Eggs Magazine Critic’s Choice Album of the Year. He is also a pivotal organizer and co-founder of an annual multi-artist concert celebrating the music of Gordon Lightfoot. He won an official Showcase at the prestigious North East Regional Folk Alliance in November. Jory was chosen out of hundreds of entrants!
Opening act Jim Colbert is crossing state lines to appear at S.S.H. - he brings with him songs, stories and poems from the heart of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Jim hosts The Folk Show on WPSU.

 Born in France in the early 60's, Claude Bourbon grew up in Switzerland, where he was classically trained. This finger picking guitarist has performed and studied all over the world; he has crafted an unbelievable fusion of classical and jazz, with ethereal Eastern influences, Spanish and Latin elements with strains of Western folk.

 Always a special night of music and song, this Sunday series is a laid-back, listening kind of event.
We're excited to welcome the very talented Addie Brownlee back to our 12 Grapes stage. Addie Brownlee's voice has been compared to Dusty Springfield. It's Americana, Alt/Country, Singer/ Songwriter. "If Brownlee's voice is of the dust, the earth, then her lyrics are a hard rain. Eroding the surface of things, exposing feelings that aren't easily expressed or classified, but so familiar..." Addie notes Dolly Parton as her biggest influence, and recently did a tribute at NYC's The Living Room. Addie was joined onstage by Martha Wainwright. Her song, "Sea Legs" off her new EP, "East of Leaving" also features a cameo by Ms Wainwright.
We first discovered Ryan O'Connor at one of our Open Mic Nights and are proud to present his 12 Grapes debut. An entertaining performer, Ryan's strong vocals and acoustic guitar work draw you in, and make you smile.

 After having worked for several years on the Canadian jazz scene with the great guitarists Sonny Greenwich, Mike Gauthier & Nelson Simons, and saxophonists Steve Grossman & Pat LaBarbara, John Menegon then went on to hone his skills in NYC in the mid-80s.
Since moving to NY City to study Jazz at Long Island University on a full scholarship, John has performed/recorded with Dewey Redman, David “Fathead” Newman, Matt Wilson, Frank Kimbrough, John Hicks, and Yoron Israel.
In addition to touring, recording, and composing, Menegon is currently a professor of jazz at SUNY New Paltz. He has developed an online course for the History of Jazz & Rock, and has created and taught Jazz Workshops on the music of Jaco Pastorius, Miles Davis, and Charles Mingus at Williams College (Williamstown, MA). He has also taught master classes at Jazz Festivals around the world, including the Panama Jazz Festival (2012), Bolzano (2011) and San Miguel de Allende. |

The Boxcar Lilies are Jenny Goodspeed, Stephanie Marshall, and Katie Clarke - three talented singer-songwriters who met in 2009 and discovered a shared passion for three-part harmony.
The Boxcar Lilies' 2nd CD, Sugar Shack, finished at #11 on the Folk DJ Top Albums of 2013. The 2013 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival audience voted The Boxcar Lilies a coveted “Most Wanted” spot on the roster at the 2014 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.
