	Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Jason Furman (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles. The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts. The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems.

	The luscious vocal duo Amy Fradon and Leslie Ritter will appear in concert at Unison Arts Center for a special evening of old favorites, original solo pieces and cover songs culled from their three acclaimed CD's. Helen Avakian and Cathie Malach will join them on guitar and keyboards, respectively. Amy Fradon and Leslie Ritter have a successful recording and performing career as a singing duo for more than 12 years before deciding to pursue solo careers and other endeavors. A few years ago they performed together for a reunion concert and had such a good time they decided to play together a few times a year. This evening at Unison will give audiences an opportunity to witness the beauty and magic that happens when these two voices come together.
