The four piece ensemble, Mr. Gone, explores early groove-based jazz fusion - focusing primarily on the music of the longest running jazz fusion outfit “Weather Report” (1970 - 1986), and Herbie Hancock's Headhunters - with a keen ear for composition and improvisation. Saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator, Peter Furlan, demonstrates striking originality on his Twinz Records release “Spy Glass Hill”. Keyboardist/composer, Neil Alexander, is involved in the multiple facets of production, live sound, musical theater, modern dance, film, and teaching. Terry Silverlight has contributed his talents as a leader, composer, producer, arranger, drummer, author and educator to projects in nearly every music genre. Bassist/composer, Ratzo Harris, is a 1995 Thelonious Monk Competition semi-finalist and has been a major force on the international jazz scene working with some of the greatest musicians of our time. | ||

Currently living in Zurich, Switzerland, Attila tells us about journeys with eyes and hearts wide open, inspired by a touch of Latin American rhythm, tonalities from good old Jazz, sober melodies and straightforward Pop. The band explores the musical territory of Blues, R&B, Funk and Jazz. Every installment of "Sessions" is unique, as JP often invites different musicians to sit in and perform. JP plays Blues harp and alto sax, and always performs with passion and energy. His audiences feel it... and love it. His original songs are full of wit and charm. The Harvey School Rock Ensemble is an extracurricular group that rehearses September thru May at The Harvey School in Katonah. Classes are open to all experienced musicians, not just Harvey students. Attendees at their concerts have always been amazed at how much more professional and tight this band sounds than your average "student band". The ensemble is directed by Cary Brown, who is a regular at 12 Grapes as keyboardist for The Geoff Hartwell Band. Cary has toured and performed with The Skatalites, NY Ska-Jazz Ensemble, John Scofield, Sloan Wainwright, Rufus Wainwright, and Yonrico Scott from the Derek Trucks Band. Beki grew up in Indianapolis playing lead guitar with the legendary James "Yank" Rachell (of Diving Duck and She Caught The Katy fame.) In 1983, she was invited to Woodstock, NY by Rick Danko and Richard Manuel who had discovered her at Indiana University. In 1988, Beki joined Tom Pacheco for a year when he moved the band to Dublin, Ireland. While she was there, she also joined the Mary Stokes Blues Band and experienced over-night Irish fame due to playing the Guinness Jazz Festival in Cork City and a week long performance on the National TV show, "NightHawks." In Ireland, Beki shared the stage with Hot House Flowers, members of U2, The Waterboys, members of Thin Lizzy, and backed up blues artists such as Carey Bell, Johnny Mars, Joe Lewis Walker, Tampa Red and Fenton Robinson. In Dublin, she was commissioned by Bono of U2 to run a blues workshop at a new Rock School/TV show on RTE. The Rock School in Dublin is still going strong today! | ||

After fronting the Columbia Records band WOOD, whose debut "Songs From Stamford Hill" was featured prominently on TV shows. Maddock moved from England to NYC in 2003. His "Sunrise On Avenue C" won a New York Music Award for Best Americana Album, while follow-up Wake Up And Dream ranked among the top albums of 2011 in WFUV's (NYC) Listener Poll. New York-based pianist and composer Taylor Eigsti began his illustrious musical career as a bandleader at age 12. Eigsti was quickly labeled a prodigy, and released 4 early albums as a leader before signing with Concord Records, where he has released three highly acclaimed albums. Eigsti has been recognized by critics internationally for his unique touch and rhythmic control, and his innovative improvisational storytelling. The now 26-year old California native released "Lucky to Be Me", nominated for two GRAMMY awards for Best Instrumental Compostion and Best Instrumental Jazz Solo.
