Few up and coming young blues performers walk the walk to the degree of Chicago-based guitarist/bandleader JOE MOSS. One of the hardest-working performers on the Windy City circuit, Moss routinely works up to 28 gigs a month. His sound, a winning mix of blues and R&B flavors paired with original songwriting vision, can be heard blasting out of Chicago venues like Buddy Guy's Legends and House of Blues on a regular basis. His stinging guitar and accomplished vocal style have won him fans citywide. His debut CD "The Joe Moss Band" (212 Records) gives ample proof to the rest of the world of what Midwest blues fans have known for some time: JOE MOSS is for real.
A guitarist since the age of 15, Moss was given his passport into the blues world by Buddy Scott, who noticed Moss at a jam session at Rosa's Blues Lounge on Chicago's west side.

Rupert Wates was born in London.
He has been a full time songwriter since 1992 when he signed an exclusive deal with Eaton Music Publishing. He has written songs in all kinds of styles for all kinds of artists. During the Nineties he worked with Jazz singer Liz Fletcher, recording the albums MELLOWMANIA and LIVE IN THE PARK, both released on the Sanctuary label, and BLUE AFTERNOONS on Mainstem.
Moving to Paris in 2001, he developed his skills as a singer and performer and formed his own group. In 2005 he recorded the album SWEET OR BITTER WINE, his first as a solo artist. The album was released on the Mainstem label in autumn 2005.

 From their web site, Joe Fiero writes: "Housed in a masterfully renovated red brick firehouse, American Glory Restaurant boasts a rich history of dedicated firefighters. Formerly the H. Rogers Hose Company it was home to the second oldest volunteer fire department in New York State; organized in 1794. The firehouse has been meticulously restored to highlight the original brick walls, wood floors and historic grand wooden staircase."

 Mike Clifford wears many hats: solo artist, member of the country/bluegrass band The District, NYC elementary school teacher. His music fuses folk, soul, country and pop. Based in Brooklyn, he has toured nationally and abroad, including several trips to Australia where he is steadily developing a devoted following. His second LP, Stay in Motion, came out on September 28th.

 The hot Latin sounds of Soñando have earned them the reputation as the Hudson Valley's premier Latin band. Albert "Tootie" Heath is the youngest of three powerful jazz brothers from Philadelphia. Along with bassist Percy and saxophonist Jimmy, the Philadelphia raised drummer became a first call player. Ethan Iverson is best known as pianist and contributing composer with the Bad Plus. Ben Street has become one of the most in demand bassists in jazz.
Scott Wendholt is an articulate, passionate, and lyrical trumpeter who approaches music with energy and spirit. He communicates to audiences with sincerity and ease. Mr. Wendholt is a much in demand artist and has found himself in a variety of settings. To his credit, Scott has been recorded on more than sixty CD's. Scott is currently on the faculty at Manhattan School of Music and teaches at the Jamey Aebersold summer jazz camps.
