Performer and composer/arranger, Marko has played with some of the greatest mentors/performers in jazz. He has toured with numerous school ensembles throughout Florida, Brazil and Italy.
Joel Frahm and pianist, Brad Mehldau met in high school and formed what was to become a long-lasting and productive musical relationship. He played with Maynard Ferguson and Larry Goldings and was a member of Mehldau’s quartet with bass player Dwayne Burno and drummer Greg Hutchinson. Not only does Frahm have full command of the instruments he plays, he is inventive and adventurous, as well.

 Pianist Marco Benevento has been amassing an extensive resume of composition and collaboration. His studio albums have set forth a vision that connects the dots between Explosions In The Sky and Tortoise on one side, Brian Eno and Brad Mehldau on the other. In the live setting, his performances reverberate with pulsating dance rock energy.

Created by Kat Koppett in association with Freestyle Repertory Theatre in New York, Spontaneous Broadway is a virtouso evening of musical improv.
The audience submits titles of "songs that have never been written". In a fictional "backer's audition", these titles inspire improvised songs in act one. In act two, the audience's favorite song serves as the basis of an entire (45 minute) Broadway musical, complete with costumes and set.
The format received a rave review from The New York Times when it premiered in New York in 1995. You ain’t seen nuttin’ like it, folks!

 With his distinct bass tone, Christopher Brown has pleased audiences for more than two decades with his repertoire of musical stories. Chris' special view of the world is portrayed honestly and humorously through his innovative, story-telling lyric, enlivened by a unique blend of folk, country and rock & roll. A reviewer recently wrote, "his sound might best be described as James Taylor meets Johnny Cash."
Chris calls his new album "Characterist". That's because he is not only a singer/songwriter, but an artist/illustrator who can capture a subject's essence through caricature. With a few strokes, he reveals hints of a character's nature or temperament, their mystery or charm. He does the same thing with lyric and melody, outlining and shading characters and moments, even yearnings and states of mind. His deep rumble of a voice can be as direct as an approaching train, yet warm and forgiving.

David put the band together in 2011, with a tremendous amount of detail and affection for the material. David's stunningly accurate piano playing and lead vocals--combined with a dynamic and high-energy band--has been astounding audiences ever since.
Billy Joel has had 33 Top 40 hits spanning 3 decades, all written by the man himself. He has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame.  The Saints of Swing are an extraordinary collective of some of the tri-state area's finest musicians with an eclectic, electric groove of foot-tappin' Swing classics - from Dixieland, elegant NYC sizzlers, Motown, R&B, Ballroom, Gospel, Latin, & Klezmer! Led by David Winograd on tuba/bass and Mike Rosler on trumpet, and featuring sultry vocalist Marty Elkins. The ensemble includes Dale Demarco on sax/clarinet, Ken Foy, trombone, Mike Kull, piano, and Gene Randolph, drums.
Marty Elkins is a force to be reckoned with as she weaves her way in and out of up tempo songs, ballads, bossa novas, and swing tunes. Marty is equally comfortable with a swinging seven piece band as she is with an intimate trio.  The Marlboro Middle School Select Chorus is a group of 27 seventh and eighth graders who auditioned to be a part of this singing ensemble. Their choral director, Mrs. Stephanie Hu, founded the group this year.
Members of this group are also in chorus during the school day, Men’s Chorus, and many of the students have been selected to represent the school at region events like, All County Chorus Festival. The students performed at the Veteran’s Day Event hosted at Marlboro Middle School with Time Warner and History Channel event with Senator Larkin and Congressman Gibson in November.
The Select Chorus will perform at the school concert at Marlboro High School on Thursday, December 12th at 7 p.m. They are scheduled to perform on 92.1 Lite FM at 8 a.m. on Friday, December 13th. In the Spring, the group will be traveling to Philadelphia to compete in the Heritage Music Festival. |

Dar Chi, the groups bass player says that "Reggae is the indigenous music. When you come here you don't want to leave your vernacular or colloquial sayings at home; that's prevalent in the music. A lot of our songs are social and reflect what's happening in the community. Some of us are Rastafarians, so there are some radical political connotations."

Club d'Elf is an ever-shifting group fiercely dedicated to "the groove", evolving from bassist/leader Mike Rivard, covering a startling spectrum of styles, including jazz, hip-hop, electronica, avant-garde, prog-rock and dub.
Comprised of the most sought-after players from the music scenes of Boston & NYC, each show features a different line-up, with Rivard and drummer Dean Johnston at the core. Guitars, turntables, Fender Rhodes, laptops, horns, tablas and exotic instruments are heard.
John Medeski, of the genre-defying Medeski, Martin & Wood, has played an integral role since the band's inception and can be heard on most of the group's releases.
