Singing since childhood, Natalie was surrounded by music. Her grandparents, whom she calls, “the Latin Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers,” exposed her to Jazz standards, and her parents introduced her to Latin Jazz.

This multi-genre chanteuse’s songwriting embraces Pop, R&B and Latin genres. Her singular vocal talent is hard to miss. She can purr at the microphone with underlying vocal power. Natalie has opened for artists Mose Allison, Frank Vignola [Madonna, Ringo Starr, Wynton Marsalis] and Stephane Wrembel (Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona & Midnight in Paris). With every performance Natalie evolves into a muscular and nuanced singer.

Natalie and her fellow co-writing conspirators and bandmates, "the gents," look forward to a forthcoming EP. Featuring Akie Bermiss - Keys; Anthony Candullo - Bass/Guitar; and Erik Perez – Drums.

Peekskill, NY   See Map
For anyone who loves joyful, unpretentious, but highly creative and spontaneous jazz, Todd Londagin’s new album Look Out For Love will be a delightful discovery. In the company of four longstanding musical cohorts, Todd has assembled a repertoire of 10 songs, culled from the Great American Songbook and popular songs. Bassist Jennifer Vincent and drummer David Berger have been playing with Todd since the early 1990s (all three were original members of the successful ‘90s band, The Flying Neutrinos); while pianist Matt Ray and guitarist Pete Smith have been performing with Todd since 2000. Together, they artfully and lovingly developed each piece like an assortment of delicious dishes combined together for a cohesive feast. As Todd explains, "each tune is an exercise in doing things in a different way." Unabashed swing is definitely a consistent mood throughout the CD.

Since his creation by Morgan Taylor in 2005, Gustafer Yellowgold has become an international phenomenon, acclaimed by The New York Times, as "A cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss." Entertainment Weekly praised "…The most infectious original songs. It’s like tapping into some pleasure center in the brain- both adult and kid…absurdly appealing. Grade: A." New York Magazine named Morgan Taylor "Best Kids’ Performer" in a recent "Best of New York" issue.

"Mint Green Bee" from Gustafer Yellowgold’s Wide Wild World was a Grand Prize Winner in the Children’s Category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Gustafer himself is a friendly creature who came to Earth from the sun and is living out an explorer’s life in a slightly psychedelic version of the Minnesota woods.

Born an American in the bustling city of Tokyo, and raised in the quiet suburbs of New York City, singer/songwriter Paul Tryon has been compiling the sounds and stories of his world into piano-driven songs for a decade’s time. His debut record, "Give and Take," leads the listener on a lively journey through the heart of the Big Apple.

Paul wrote the songs on "Give and Take" while living in the shadow of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. The roaring semis and screaming sirens could be heard on many of the initial demo recordings, which were recorded in that very apartment. On the eve of Hurricane Sandy, when much of lower Manhattan was evacuating, Paul, Tony Tino (bass) and Tom Seguso (drums) gathered in The Magic Shop studio and recorded the first official tracks on the album.

Born and bred in Brooklyn, NY – with a short growth spurt spent in Purchase where he conceived the funk band MOKAAD at SUNY’s famed music program – Gabriel Garzón-Montano is no stranger to the New York music scene.

You might have come across him commandeering a Friday night from the position of band leader, or crooning from the seat of guest artist with local bands like EMEFE. But with the release of his solo album, Bishouné: Alma del Huila, Montano becomes a name not to be ignored by just exiting a downtown club; his voice forces your ears into attention. Not to mention he pulled a Stevie by playing every instrument on his record.

His debut EP 'Bishouné: Alma del Huila' is set for a January release on Styles Upon Styles.

Critically lauded, Nashville-based Holly Williams brings her "breath of fresh Americana" music to White Plains on Thursday, November 21 at 8:00pm.

This exciting and sophisticated, eight-piece band merges elements of old-school soul with hip-hop, rock, and jazz to create an intriguing sound that spans generations. Led by vocalist Joanna Teters and bassist Ben Carr, Mad Satta is coming up through the ranks fueled by talent, passion and a relentless drive to reach an ever-expanding audience. Teters confidently fronts the band with grace and depth of soul beyond her years, with her own musical roots deep in funk, reggae and jazz.

She is joined by bass player and principle composer for the group, Ben Carr, keyboardist Kevin Theodore (Ever Forthright, Soul Understated), standout Connecticut guitarist Ted Morcaldi and multi-instrumentalist and drummer Zane West. In June of 2012, by adding Collin Wade on alto sax, Eric Zeiser on trumpet and Jason Fitch on tenor sax, Mad Satta took their sound to the next level.

Their highly anticipated debut album, entitled ‘Comfort’ is set to be released in winter of 2013.

Parc X trio, an instrumental jazz group based in Montreal (Canada), are the winners of the TD Grand Prize for Jazz from the 2010 Festival International de jazz de Montréal. After a successful tour of nine major jazz festival last summer (Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal [FIJM and OFFJAZZ], St-John's, Halifax and Québec city) with their second opus, Cent questions sans réponse, Parc X trio returned to the studio to record their new material.

To the band's own surprise, they managed to complete two different albums during the same session that will be released throughout 2013. The first is an electric record heavily fusing rock 'n roll with jazz sensitivity while the second showcases the trio in its classic acoustic format. The group is a breath of fresh air on the contemporary jazz scene with a sound heavily influenced by rock, urban beats and pop style melodies. Parc X trio will tour across Ontario, Europe and USA (east coast) in 2013-14.

MOPCO brings its unique brand of improv to Proctors -- Friday nights at 8:00pm.

Created by Kat Koppett in association with Freestyle Repertory Theatre in New York, Spontaneous Broadway is a virtouso evening of musical improv.

The audience submits titles of "songs that have never been written". In a fictional "backer's audition", these titles inspire improvised songs in act one. In act two, the audience's favorite song serves as the basis of an entire (45 minute) Broadway musical, complete with costumes and set.

The format received a rave review from The New York Times when it premiered in New York in 1995. You ain’t seen nuttin’ like it, folks!

“It’s Jazz. It just doesn’t sound like it.” This is how virtuoso guitarist Oz Noy describes his intoxicating blend of jazz, funk, rock, blues, and r&b. The impact of Oz's unique, intoxicating style has broken the rules of instrumental guitar by focusing on the groove.

Anton is presently a member of the "CBS Orchestra" appearing nightly on 'Late Show with David Letterman' - a position he has held since 1986. During this tenure he has played with scores of great artists including Miles Davis, James Brown, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Winwood, Bonnie Raitt and Tony Bennett.

Grammy Award-winning Will Lee can be seen every week night across the US playing at the Ed Sullivan Theatre as the bassist with Paul Shaffer and the "CBS Orchestra" on the wildly popular "Late Show with David Letterman" and you can hear him playing, singing and speaking on many commercials on both television and radio.

A very special night. A very special performer
with Laura Stevenson
Singer-Songwriter. Indie, Folk
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
We are pleased and honored to present Laura Stevenson, a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter who has hit the Indie scene in a big way. Critics love her, and we can't wait for her 12 Grapes debut. "...a slice of indie-pop heaven..." "smart witty lyrics, very literate, and wonderfully strong melodies that can then erupt into these jams..." "... the good kind of indie rock: the beaming, soaring, cloud-gazing, theatrical kind..."

Laura's first two albums--and an extensive tour schedule--brought Stevenson a dedicated fan base, drawn to her voice, her words, and her relatable down-to-earth persona. Laura's newest album, "Wheel" intertwines prose and humor, and has been met with critical acclaim.

Her Indy band, "Laura Stevenson and the Cans", tour internationally and have performed with a diverse set of popular Indie, Punk, and Folk-influenced acts.

Come catch this rising star. She is destined to soar.
