Palermo is not a “business as usual” musician. His Big Band may deliver Zappa, Hendrix, Paul Butterfield & Mike Bloomfield or one of Ed’s own compositions, with lush turns and twists. The legendary Gil Evans wonderfully articulated Palermo’s unusual approach to traditional instrumentation: “I first heard Ed Palermo’s music in a small club in the SoHo section of Manhattan. He was using the instrumentation of a traditional big band yet his arrangements and songs were anything but that. When I thought the music was going a certain direction, it would suddenly turn a corner. Ed has the ability to keep that important balance between cohesiveness and unpredictability. Ed Palermo’s music is alive and represents now.”

Two of our favorite performers on the same stage, taking turns playing original music, and singing together to harmonize, and mesmerize!Mishti's music has been described as "coasting between a bottom-heavy Zeppelin Rock, Blues-infused grooves, Thelonius Monk-inspired guitar work, and a Nina Simone-style wail-to-whisper." Always looking to cultivate a connection with her audience, she strives to create an experience that grabs listeners emotionally. Addie Brownlee's voice has been compared to Dusty Springfield. It's Americana, Alt/Country, Singer/Songwriter. "If Brownlee’s voice is of the dust, the earth, then her lyrics are a hard rain..." Addie notes Dolly Parton as her biggest influence. Addie has performed with Martha Wainwright and Addie's song, "Sea Legs" (off her new EP, "East of Leaving") features a cameo by Ms. Wainwright. Two exceptionally talented performers in an up-close-and personal concert. Don't miss it. Free Admission.

The Commander (a/k/a George Frayne) formed the first incarnation of Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen in the Midwest. Late ‘60s success in the San Francisco Bay area saw the band recording, touring and producing hits like “Hot Rod Lincoln,” “Smoke, Smoke, Smoke,” and “Beat Me Daddy Eight to the Bar” through “Don’t let Go” in 1975.
