 Sasha Papernik is a Russian-American classical pianist, singer, and songwriter who draws on her dueling heritage and love of nature to craft smart, atmospheric songs spanning the genre and continental divide. Scriabin, Prokofiev, Irving Berlin, Russian folk songs, and originals appear in her repertoire.
The critically acclaimed artist has been featured at Lincoln Center's esteemed Meet The Artist series and will perform at Carnegie Hall’s popular program, Musical Explorers. She'll perform at The Smithsonian this July, as well.  After a 30-year hiatus, the New Swing Sextet has reunited, evoking the heyday of salsa and Latin boogaloo while introducing elements of jazz and pop that speak to aficionados and new audiences alike. They have been a popular and innovative exponent of Latin jazz, salsa and pop music for nearly four decades.

 After studying his teenage years with Peter Frampton Alumnus, Ed Monteleone, who opened his eyes to Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and others, Pete went on to study at G.I.T., eventually graduating with honors. Pete was able to develop a fingerpicking style and deep understanding of roots music.
Pete’s appreciation for music ranges from Hank to Hendrix, Duke to Dylan, Bach to Buck, Son House to Son Volt or Muddy to Miles. Steeped in electric blues from T-Bone to Stevie Ray. With an understanding of early country blues by Hank, Johnny and Jimmie to Bakersfield, Outlaw and Alternative Country. In addition to being an accomplished singer/frontman, Pete is a sought after sideman.

 Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester. Hosted tonight by singer/songwriter Jess Erick.
Jess is a talented vocalist and an entertaining host who keeps the music flowing and spirits high. We have a full back line including mics, amps and a keyboard.

Gwen Gould will lead the July 8 Sing, which will include Mozart's “Requiem, K. 626,” and “Ave Verum Corpus, K. 618.” Michael Clement will provide piano accompaniment. Gould has enjoyed a diverse career in music as a recitalist, music director, conductor, and entrepreneur. She founded the Columbia Festival Orchestra, the West Village Chorale, Diamond Opera Theater, and ClaverackLanding. A national competition finalist, she performed extensively as a solo recitalist and developed a career as an organist and director of music in New York City.
