David is an artist who has worked in almost every medium, and can make almost anything his medium. From the structural steel in his welded sculpture to the six-pack liners utilized in his paintings, “found objects” find their way into much of his work.In many of the works in this show, he goes beyond “repurpose” to the point of “reincarnation”; bringing his bold expression to life in both color and form. And as a sculptor and architect, David resists the boundaries of dimension even in his paintings and photographs. He refuses to exist in a 2D world. David brings his artist’s sensibility to his architecture and building practice; he is known for designing residences and commercial spaces that are not only energy-efficient, but also hallmarked by his hand-finished original touches. David has a BS and an MFA from Bard College and a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Join us for some tasty soul-jazz and brunch at the Falcon in Marlboro!! Jb (Hammond Organ) toured for over 6 years with Grammy nominated singer Shemekia Copeland. With musical prodigy Myles Mancuso on guitar/vocals and acclaimed drummer Joel Rosenblatt (Spyro Gyra, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, Oz Noy!)Both traditional and trailblazing...Highly recommended. ***Blues Review Magazine*** Baum's playing has a deep funk to it, with a big influence of Jimmy Smith. And Baum also brings in all kinds of other things as well - dissonant jazz, alternative rock, R&B. He's not too far off from what John Medeski does with Medeski, Martin and Wood, but with more of a blues streak to it. ***Jim Trageser. Escondido, Calif. *** Call for more info! 845-236-7970

N.Y.C. born Steve March-Torme is the son of singer/performer Mel Tormé and the stepson of TV-host/actor Hal March, so there’s definitely a healthy dose of show business DNA in his genes. In the late 1970's, Steve recorded his first LP, Lucky, for United Artists Records, supporting it with a well received 20 city, national concert tour. Upon returning to California, he produced and sang on Liza Minnelli's Columbia Records release Tropical Nights, which became a favorite of the New York dance clubs. He has since released 4 more jazz oriented CDs: Swingin’ At The Blue Moon Bar & Grille, The Night I Fell For You, The Essence of Love and So Far. Steve has entertained in every venue from intimate jazz clubs to Performing Arts Centers to festivals worldwide (Australia, England, Japan, Canada, to name a few). His 2012 series of concerts in London were so successful, he’s been asked to come back and perform again this July (2013).
