Andy Stack and Tania Elizabeth found each other in NYC and each knew they had found their match. A duo was born. Both are highly respected for their abilities to listen and respond, and have been in demand as sidemen. The sound of Tania Elizabeth’s fiddle is unmistakable - ghostly bowing, the electric, Hendrix-inspired wails and driving tunes come from a young woman rooted in Traditional music, unafraid to take it to the edge. Guitar in hand, Andy Stack has toured the US and Europe, and showcased his skills in festivals from Bonnaroo to the Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals. Andy has toured, recorded with Jonah Smith, Les Nubians, NY Ska Jazz Ensemble, Duncan Sheik, Suzanne Vega among others. He’s also opened for Martin Sexton, Madeline Peyroux, Little Feat,Los Lobos, Charlie Hunter, Taj Mahal. Shane Loverro
Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter
Taste Budd's Chocolate and Coffee Cafe
40 West Market Street
Red Hook, NY   See Map
With a solid consort of personal angst and melancholia, paired with subtle dialogues among unlikely lovers, Shane Loverro is indubitably headed for an adventurous career. Prolific in his own encapsulated nature, he finds his muse, tucks himself away, and then he does what he knows best. He writes. His record, Never This Far Down, which was recorded in SoHo and Brewster, NY was completed in April of 2012, just in time for his 24th birthday. The record displays the range of his many influences as well as the magnitude of his apparent originality. The songs are extremely personal yet applicable to anyone who simply takes the time to listen to them and absorb their brilliance. Rendering words of solitude, beauty of the past, the present, and the future. Lending one’s ears to the record is more like reading the diary of a madman

Her songs have been covered as far away as Ireland, where a band is currently performing one of her songs about an Irish woman who decided at age 106 that she wanted to get married!

As a guitarist in the musicals Hair and Godspell, he met and inspired the now world-famous keyboard player, Paul Shaffer, who became Tisziji’s primary accompanist from 1970 to 1972,and recalls: “Tisziji’s music is of a unique, other-worldly nature…I have [since] played with all the great guitar players, from Eric Clapton to Van Halen to Santana to Jeff Beck, and nobody plays guitar the way Tisziji Munoz does. He is very spiritual, and as a guitar player he swings wild.” John Medeski, of the genre-defying trio Medeski Martin & Wood, has garnered fans across the musical spectrum. Medeski’s recording credits include John Zorn, Iggy Pop, T Bone Burnett, Ray Lamontagne, Dan The Automator and k.d. Lang. Medeski has produced The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, pedal steel guitar group The Campbell Brothers, and two records from The Wood Brothers.
