Albany St.
Glasco
Saugerties, NY   See Map
The Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce and Café Mezzaluna present the final show of the Summer Concert Series.

Set on the banks of the Hudson River, tonight's show features two of the area's hottest bands. Bring lawn chairs, snacks, and your dancing shoes!!

Kurt Henry pours a lifetime’s worth of dedication to music—and its unique ability to communicate the truth—into everything he does. Kurt’s poignant vocals and driving guitar, Cheryl Lambert’s harmonies, and the lock-down rhythm section of Eric Parker on drums (Joe Cocker, Steve Winwood) and Alan Groth on bass are seamlessly enhanced by the rich rock-and-soul keyboards of Ross Rice (Peter Frampton, Steve Earle, Jill Sobule).

The Broad Band is the Hudson Valley's premier R & B / Motown group. The 'Broads' are Barbara Dempsey, Robin Baker and Terri Massardo and the band is smokin'!!! With 3-part harmony at its core, the Broad Band plays familiar tunes with an edgy twist.

Rain location is 16 John St. Saugerties

Scott Barkan is a guitarist, singer and songwriter based in New York's Hudson Valley. After years of working as an in demand sideman for various songwriters and bands around the country, having his guitar playing and songwriting featured on national television (The Real World, The Hills, Keeping up with the Kardashians, etc.), as well as leading numerous guitar oriented instrumental projects, Scott has recently struck out as an acoustic based solo artist. The new project, which finds Scott's signature shimmering guitar tones and skronky, avant/country improvisations serving as the backdrop for his witty, self-effacing and often heartbreaking lyric writing, is without-a-doubt Barkan's most personal project to date. Barkan's powerful voice and somber, humorous songwriting always remain front and center, the thread that strings all these elements together.

Rosendale Cafe Singer-Songwriter Tuesdays

A Musical Performance Showcase Every Other Tuesday Night

The Rosendale Cafe has been bringing notable performances to the area for 18 years. This more humble opportunity for local performances started with a very successful run of the Community Music Night hosted by Mark Bernard. Hosts John Wirtz, Carla Rozman, Wayne Montecalvo, and now John P. Hughes have taken it over under the name Singer-Songwriter Tuesdays, and the series has run since the fall of 2007.
