 Steve is an award-winning Singer/Songwriter living in the Hudson Valley. His influences range from The Beatles, The Eagles, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson to the great songwriters in the Texas troubador tradition: Guy Clark, Steve Earle, Eric Taylor and Townes Van Zandt.
But Steve has a style all his own: a little Bleecker Street, a little 6th Street, and a little Rock 'n' Roll.
Steve is well-loved by audiences and critics alike, and 12 Grapes especially. He's won several awards: In 2011, Steve was a winner at the HV SongFest Emerging Artist Competition, Wildflower! Music and Art Festival songwriting competition, Woody Guthrie Songwriting Contest (3rd Place) and a Kerrville New Folk finalist. In 2010, he was Grand Prize Winner of the Music 2Life songwriting competition.

Hudson, NY and the surrounding towns have been home for singer/songwriter Marilyn Miller for most of her life, and her music often deals with the contradictions inherent in an area which is at once both very rural and very urban. You will find her most often encouraging others at an open mic, having an open jam at her country home, supporting a farmers' market or other cause, or busking on the streets of her hometown. It is no surprise that, given the diversity of her sounds, her favorite musician is Neil Young, a man well known to follow his muse wherever it takes him. His influence is very evident in the songs Marilyn writes, and in how she approaches the art of music. As a performer, Marilyn is most often compared to Patti Smith, no doubt due to the high energy she displays in presenting her work, and her dedication to always seeking the truth in the music. Her goal is to provide the listener with sounds that make a person move, think and feel, and she does deliver.

| As a (new) Senior at Warwick Valley High School, Ava Rae Heatley is an incredible singer songwriter. She has played at many different venues throughout Orange and Sussex County. She recently performed at Winslow Therapeutic Riding’s Annual Gala, was a main stage performer at Warwick Farm Aid, Warwick’s Music on the Green, Tri-State Theatre’s Spring Concerts, and Sussex Community College. In addition, she opened for local artists Emish and Jim Lord during the Vision Voices Concert Series. Ava’s musical genre is pop/rock and her influences are many. She loves the piano playing skill of Billy Joel, the rocking emotion of Elton John, the melodies of Sara Bareilles and the grooves of Foster The People.
Ava’s songs combine the storytelling of Taylor Swift, the sardonic wit of Ben Folds and the vocal dynamics of Nora Jones. She writes about the characters she meets in her life. Even though the names are changed, everyone wants to know who her songs are about. But she’s not telling. |
