 Keyboardist Dave Keyes has been on the Blues scene for over 20 years, performing with some of the most important figures in Blues, Roots and Folk music like Popa Chubby, Larry Campbell (Levon Helm, Bob Dylan), Gladys Knight and the late, great Lou Rawls. Dave won the Blues Foundation's International Blues Competition and appears at Blues Festivals throughout the world. For 6 years, he was conductor for the Broadway hit "Smokey Joe's Cafe" and is a featured performer on their Grammy-winning soundtrack album.
Dave's newest CD "Roots in the Blues" ranges from "rollicking boogie" to soulful R&B, Zydeco, Country Blues and some solo Gospel piano thrown in for good measure. It's been receiving critical acclaim from pubs like The Village Voice, Living Blues and Downbeat (3 1/2 stars).

| Marie Chabot grew up listening to all kinds of music -- from the old country records of her dad (Patsy Cline and Hank Williams) to the singer/songwriters of the 70s & 80s -- James Taylor, Janis Ian, Karla Bonoff, Carly Simon, and Joni Mitchell, to the rock records of her brother -- Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, and Jethro Tull. Add that to a full range of piano and guitar lessons, a history of singing in the church choir -- what a combo! Marie's quest for a truly meaningful song with a good beat -- has led her to some odd covers, and some beautifully written originals. She has performed in New England coffeehouses, Nashville clubs, beach resorts in the Carolinas, as well as 6-month gigs in Japan as a piano/vocalist, and a solo tour of Sweden and Norway. Locally, she performs as a solo artist as well as a big band singer with New England's SOS swing band.

Join us at the 17th Annual Between the Tides Festival to benefit the Saugerties Lighthouse, an 1869 historic landmark of the Hudson River. Enjoy an afternoon of live music, a feast of local fare including a pig roast, and plenty of family fun! The music and festivities begin at 2PM and won’t stop until 7PM, rain or shine. Tickets are $30 per person on the day of the event, or $25 for seniors & advanced sales. Free for children under twelve. Advanced tickets are available by calling the Lighthouse at 845-247-0656. All proceeds support the preservation of the historic Saugerties Lighthouse.

| We’re over the moon about our new CD, Love Remembered, Love Forgot.. It’s got guest appearances by our friends Tom Rush, Jonatha Brooke, Krista Detor, Pat Wictor, Trina Hamlin, Eric Schwartz, Yani Batteau, and Sophie Buskin. It’s got a dee-vine rhythm section: besides our third arm, percussionist Marshal Rosenberg, there are Jeff St. Pierre (bass), Kevin Barry
(guitars), and Corey Schreppel (drums). We took our time about it, followed hunches, listened, went back and tried different sounds, added songs, dropped songs – you know, the way it’s supposed to be: “Don’t give it to me Tuesday, give it to me good.”

Grab your blanket, cooler, friends, and family and head on over and enjoy a beautiful sunset, listen to some great acoustic-electric music, and reminisce to some of the greatest tunes of the feel good eras of the '60s and '70s...and beyond! (Rain date: Wed, 8/8).
All types of music, instruments and vocals are welcome! Sign-ups start at 7:00pm that night and music starts at 7:15 going until 9:00. Each performer or group will get 2 songs or 10 minutes.
Bring your instruments and voices! Come to play or come to listen. Bring your friends for sure!! You will also now have a great selection of beverages and foods to purchase!
