 The Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce and Café Mezzaluna invite you to an evening of great music featuring three outstanding local acts.
The Virginia Wolves have a sound unique to the folk-indie scene, featuring Kelly's complex guitar work and Adele's soft and moody French horn. They weave together harmonies in multi-colored braids that support intricately-crafted songs of love and life.
Vince Sauter is a veteran singer-songwriter with a an ear for great melodies and a voice that soothes like ice cream on a warm summer night. His songs are personal, yet universal, and his guitar playing goes far beyond mere accompaniment -- it's an integral part of the performance.
CB Smith is a songwriter whose literate and intelligent lyrics are framed by catchy melodies and and supported by virtuoso guitar playing. The Lucky Devils are one of the area's tightest bluegrass bands and while their musicianship never fail to impress, they never obscure the beauty of the songs.

| Marc Black is an eclectic folk-rocker who sings about Rachel Maddow, good coffee and just about everything in between. His talent has attracted folks like John Sebastian, Taj Mahal, Art Garfunkel and Richie Havens to perform and record with him. Folk Artist of the Year on ABC Radio's Fame Games, Marc was also a winner at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival. His song, No Fracking Way has become an anthem for the anti-fracking movement.
Marc's band will feature Eric Parker from the Joe Cocker and Stevie Winwood Bands on drums, Mike Esposito on Bass and Don Davis from the legendary Microscopic Septet on alto, tenor and soprano sax, as well as the bass clarinet.
Amy Fradon, formerly part of the famous duo Amy and Leslie, Amy went on to forge a successful solo career touring with her own band and recording 2 acclaimed solo CDs and and performing internationally with the Vanaver Caravan and Face The Music. She will be accompanied by guitarist, Helen Avakian. |

 Orlando Marin, a contemporary of such greats as Tito Puente, Machito, and Tito Rodriguez, is the only orchestra leader from New York’s golden era of mambo who still performs regularly.
Orlando formed his first band, Eddie Palmieri and his Orchestra and, since then, has played with several different bands and has performed in the famous Palladium Ballroom. In 1997, Latin music historiographer Max Salazar presented Orlando a plaque in recognition of nearly five decades of uninterrupted contribution to Latin music. In January 2003, Orlando was invited by Latin Jazz station, WPFW, by the Arlington County (Virginia) Cultural Arts Division, and by the Latin American Folk Institute to do a live concert in Washington at The Spectrum Theater and in 2006, Congressman Jose E. Serrano honored Orlando as “The Last Mambo King,” for his continuing to provide Latin American music and his willingness to devote time to helping the less fortunate.

 For the past 5 years, Ray Blue has conducted Master Classes and Workshops for jazz ensemble at the Palmgren Conservatory in Pori, Finland. Blue and Palmgren’s Headmaster, Juha Jarvinen, have now initiated an annual Pro-Am Ensemble student exchange program. This year, Palmgren students Jyri Ekholm, Drums; Salla Jarvinen, Trumpet and Vocal; Ville Viertoli, Guitar; Samu Repo, Bass; and instructor Rauli Viltala, Guitarist were selected to study and perform in the U.S. In 2013, a select group of U.S. students will study and perform in Finland.
Local student participants are Sean McQuaid, Trumpet; John Winton, Saxophone; and Satish Robertson, Trumpet. Clinicians include; Ray Blue, Saxophone and Ensemble Director; Vince Corozine, Arranger; David Gibson, Drums/Percussion; Radam Schwartz, Organ/Piano; Wayne Cobham, Trumpet.
The Pro-Am Ensemble’s tour includes performances at NYC Jazz Club, Jam Sessions, and three concert performances, including this performance at the BeanRunner Cafe.

Spost (guitar, backing vocals) and Dan Landa (primary vocals). The two often perform their music and comedy at festivals, cafes and open mics across Dutchess County, and in parts of Ulster County and other surrounding areas.
Their original songs are mostly sentimental and comical, and are rooted in musical theatre. They often incorporate themes of perseverance,
family, and identity into their lyrics. Steven and Dan have been influenced heavily by the genres of rock, pop, country and even some classical.

ROUND 2! Roark's Karaoke is reverting back to its original Tuesday Night Acoustic Open Mic beginning this week! Cadillac Dorman, featuring Ben Cadillac, Tina Tiongson and Chuck Dorman will be our featured band and all musicians are welcome to come down to perform. Join Guitar'd & Feather'd on this 4th of July as they host The Postage Inn Open Jam night located on Rte 32 in Tillson , NY. This is becoming a great musicians gathering with a hoppin' bar & staff. The band is: Eddie Fingerhut on lead vocals & guitar, Tom Flowerman on lead guitar, Alan Herskowitz on drums and Kevin Williams on bass. From unique interpretations of classic rock, blues & standards to rockin' originals there are songs for every one. Rockin' electric music as it's sopposed to be - in your face & with an attitude. 
All types of music, instruments and vocals are welcome! Sign-ups start at 7:00pm that night and music starts at 7:15 going until 9:00. Each performer or group will get 2 songs or 10 minutes.
Bring your instruments and voices! Come to play or come to listen. Bring your friends for sure!! You will also now have a great selection of beverages and foods to purchase!
