“The show is a cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss.” - The New York Times

Groovy Gustafer Yellowgold is a small, yellow, cone-headed fellow, who came to Earth from the Sun and has a knack for finding himself neck-deep in absurd situations as he explores his new life in the Minnesota woods. Equal parts pop rock concert and animated storybook, Gustafer Yellowgold concerts are a truly different multimedia experience that entrances children and adults alike.

Katherine Pohl is a singer-songwriter originally from upstate New York. She has been singing all her life, and writing almost as long. After taking up the piano and guitar, she began composing original songs about any and all subjects, her relationships and the city of Boston particular favorites in recent years. She graduated the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2007, and compiled an album of original material, fondly titled "From Boston," which was independently released earlier this year. Katherine's lyrical prowess and dynamically gymnastic voice have granted her the ability to relay her experiences in a creative and emotional way to audiences throughout the northeast. She is hoping to continue sharing her music for years to come, bringing her absolute love for music to listeners far and wide, and connecting with people who hold the same passion she possesses.

Ernie Williams played his first guitar in the 30's; he was 13 and living in a shack on a Virginia Plantation. He spent his days picking tobacco and his nights bending the blues on a beat up six-string. By the 40's, he earned the right to play with the local bluesmen at the Saturday night Fish Fries in Halifax County, Virginia. At the age of 19, he bought a one-way ticket to Harlem, NY with the $9.00 it took him a year to save - he was moving north to go after his dream. Although the band members have changed through the years, Ernie has remained one of the most beloved performers in the region.

Rock (classic)

Buried in Blue is one of the BEST party bands in the county... lead guitarist Tom Dowd is known for his lightning-fast guitar work, clear, soaring vocals and fresh, compelling arrangements that span Rock, Blues, R&B and Pop classics. The band features the inimitable Tom Dowd on vocals and lead guitar (and this man can PLAY guitar!), Jaynie "Blonde Thunder" D'Agostino on percussion, Pete McGregor on drums, Barry "Buzzy" Garriola on bass and Kevin McSweeney rhythm guitar, who provides the unshakable and perfectly-chosen solos that make each song a new classic. As one reviewer writes: "If you want to catch an incredible live performance of Classic Rock, Pop and Blues with pitch-perfect vocals, powerful drums, and some hot Hendrix-style guitar, see these guys soon....Buried in Blue is buried in talent."

DInner reservations highly recommended as this band packs the house (and the dance floor!)

An unabashed Boomer, his original music resonates, involves and entertains, spanning emotionally from hilarious to heartfelt. His performance philosophy is “It’s all about the audience... whatever gets them going” as he draws from a large repertoire of cover songs that are like the soundtrack of a generation and his own unique original material. Billy has been performing for over 25 years on Rhode Island waterfronts and regionally in venues like Boston's Dick’s Last Resort and The House of Blues in L.A. He originally sang in a cappella doo-wop quartet The Hudsons, and is front man for Classic Rock band New York Minute, in addition to solo shows. "About all a human being is anyway is a hoping machine." Woodie Guthrie

Hope Machine-the band-was born at a 2003 Woody Guthrie hootenanny hosted by Woody's granddaughter Anna Canoni. It's core members are Fred Gillen Jr., Steve Kirkman, and Eric Puente. They rarely do a show without a special guest or two sitting in and their performances are true celebrations of community, spontaneity, and freedom.

Their debut CD March, released in the Winter of 2006/2007, was recorded live-in-the-studio and received folk airplay all over the East Coast. The follow-up CD, Big Green Hope Machine, features some of Gillen and Kirkman's finest songs and great special guests. The CD has gotten great reviews and airplay all over the world.

Hope Machine is always evolving, but the message remains one of hope, peace, and freedom. While they sing many of their own songs, they also remain an "official program" of the Woody Guthrie Foundation, and carry Woody's message wherever they go.

with Stratospheerius, featuring electric violinist, Joe Deninzon
Jazz. Funk, Electro Rock Fiddle
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Lead by electric violinist/vocalist Joe Deninzon (aka the Jimi Hendrix of the violin), the band has showcased their "psychojazz trip funk" throughout the US. The group was a winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, and Best Jam Song at the 4th Annual Independent Music Awards. The band has opened for John Scofield, among others.

Joe performs on 6- and 7-string "Viper" violin, acoustic violin and mandolin. Here's what one reviewer wrote: "The songs are gripping and energetic... made compelling by the violin passion. Fevered solos are cradled between lyrical passages that tremble with breakout Rock stamina. A Bayou flavor lurks in several tracks, creating a strange fusion of Bluesy Funk and progressive tendencies. The result is goodtime music that will get you dancing."

Joe calls the band, "the bastard child of Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler". We can't wait to hear this!
