Peekskill, NY   See Map
Rob Morsberger is a singer-songwriter and classically-trained composer. His latest album, The Chronicle of A Literal Man, received raves in USA Today, The Boston Globe and Herald, and more. Writing in the Herald, renowned rock critic Kevin Convey stated that the "album is the kind of hyperliterate, pop-inflected singer-songwriter outing that went out of style when Warren Zevon died." Rob has played with My Morning Jacket, Crash Test Dummies, Marshall Crenshaw, Jules Shear, Loudon Wainwright III, Dan Zanes, and The Roches. He is composer for the award-winning PBS series NOVAscienceNOW, now in its 5th season.

Nashville-based Amelia White is hard-rocking, folkin-alt-art country whose sinewy voice and lean guitar produces simply beautiful pop-rock . "Ebullient choruses and complicated moods. Literate verse, ravaged guitars, and a level of composition and craftsmanship that brings to mind Lucinda Williams, Tom Petty, and Ryan Adams." Joan Anderman-Boston Globe

When musicians you admire tell you how highly they regard a guitarist's skills, you take notice. That's how it is with Dave Fields. He's a musician's musician.

"New York Boss Guitar Man" Dave Fields is a "genre-busting" Blues guitarist and virtuoso whose performances are always electrifying, awe-inspiring and intensely passionate. Dave Rubin from Guitar Edge Magazine writes, "Dave rocks hard, rolls with rollicking R&B and swings like a zoot-suited jive cat." Bottom line: Dave will get you rockin' and rollin' with the Blues.

Dave Fields has worked with many musical legends including Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon, The Drifters and Tommy James. Dave has three CD's to his credit and performs many originals that keeps his audience dancing all night long. C'mon y'all... Let's Have a Ball!

Gigantic Inflation of the Ego....... If you believe the best rock comes from the UK but you don't know Spiv—a four-piece, Anglo-American, Woodstock-based band known for its complex, trippy tunes—this CD's for you. However, if you're in the know on Spiv, take heed—this CD's danceable, drivable, dreamable. .. Spiv (English slang for a man who lives by his wits) updates '80s Brit rock with energetic, multilayered songs. Listen for traces of Bowie, Gang of Four, Joy Division, Psychedelic Furs, Pink Floyd, even Gong. Spiv certainly maintains an air of mystery—the CD merely lists 10 tracks and its appearances are underground. Nonetheless, Spiv's wide following appreciates its tightly woven threads of two guitars—one spacey, psychedelic; the other relentless, urgent—and lyrics that are detached, edgy, and pointed. .. In Spiv's debut CD, leader Sham Morris and second vocalist John Gullo deliver wry observations on women ("Hillary's Psychosis," "Poor Little Baby," "Simone") and s

Get ready for a musical voyage starting in ancient Spain and winding through Sarajevo, Smyrna, Salonica and Jerusalem as this award winning quintet breathes new life into centuries-old Sephardi romanzas and canticas. Colorful tales of sailors seduced by sirens at sea, murder, intrigue, fantastic dreams and the treachery of kings and queens abound in arrangements that go from gritty and spare to sweepingly cinematographic, and through a presentation that is at once captivating and down-to-earth in its humour and charm.

What happens when a music that is the product of hundreds of years of migrations continues to travel, landing in such unlikely places as Appalachia or the streets of Salvador in Northeastern Brazil? Drawing on the dynamic world music expertise of each of its players, the charismatic quintet explores a re-imagined world of Ladino music, making an ancient music fresh for modern audiences.

Combine Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass and James Brown, and you get LA's signature style - "old school romance" and fiery funk! His unique registry, being a bass/baritone singer, brings passion and fire to the romantic songs that are an important part of his musical experience.

The fervor and spiritual connections felt by his audiences is matched only by his ability to become "one" with his soulful, heart pounding funk. A celebratory aura is seen in his outlook on life and is evident in his performances.

LA has performed with the legendary Intruders as well as on many "Motown Review" assignments. He is currently the bass/ baritone singer and co-founder of "Tradition", a wonderful "classic soul" cover singing group.

LA has been a radio personality on his own "Quite Storm" show on 91.1 WOSS in New York and has been seen in commercials, and on documentaries for public and commercial television.

Deadheads rejoice!

Welcome to 12 Grapes' debut of "Not Dead Yet", a band that reproduces the sound of the "pioneering Godfathers" of the jam band world. Not Dead Yet's ability to be true to the Grateful Dead live concert experience, while appealing to fans unfamilair with The Dead's music, is what sets them apart from other bands. Taking the Grateful Dead's improvisational approach to music, Not Dead Yet has a different set list for each gig, but expect to hear classics like St. Stephen, The Music Never Stopped, Truckin', Turn On Your Lovelight, Ripple, Box of Rain ... you know the drill.

The band features Michael Koren (guitar/vocals), Jeff Timberg (lead guitar/vocals), Mike Pascullo (drums), Ric LuBell (bass/vocals) and Frank Lorio (keyboards/vocals).

When we say this band is the real deal, we ain't just whistlin' Dixie. Not only have they caught the attention of die-hard Louisiana music fans, but also those who enjoy Blues, Rock, Country, Swing and more.

Dennis Stroughmatt and Creole Stomp have carried the torch of French Creole music and culture across North America, performing a blend of Louisiana Creole Zydeco, Cajun, and New Orleans Swamp Pop. Dennis is an accomplished accordionist and fiddler who learned the centuries-old French Creole fiddling style from fiddlers Roy Boyer and Charlie Pashia and is fluent in Illinois-Missouri Creole French. With their unique mix of both the ancient and modern Mississippi River Valley musical tradition, Creole Stomp is said to be the only band to encompass French Creole and Folk Music from the entirety of the old Louisiana Territory. JAMES DURST welcomes a stageful of artists to pay tribute to BOB GIBSON, one of the most influential singer-songwriters of the golden age of folk music, the '50s and '60s. Bob met Pete Seeger in 1953 and it's said that he bought a banjo the very next day. He inspired countless other folk artists like Peter, Paul & Mary, Simon & Garfunkel, the Limeliters, Roger McGuinn & the Byrds, Gordon Lightfoot, many more.

Bob introduced Joan Baez to the world at the 1959 Newport Folk Festival, then Judy Collins in 1960. In '61 he was joined by Bob Camp (later Hamid Hamilton Camp) for the seminal live album, Gibson & Camp at the Gate of Horn. Hearing his 1964 solo album, Where I'm Bound, and meeting him in '65, was a life-changing experience for your host, Westchester-based songsmith. Bob would have been 80 on November 16th. This will be a very special evening not to be missed.
