The menu focuses on comfort food like burgers, pot pie and meatloaf. There’s outdoor dining in summer, but live music, a raw bar and a fireplace inside the 1893 building mean year-round popularity.

World-class musicians perform crowd-pleasing renditions of Rock/Soul/R&B with a Jazz Fusion twist. Songs from Otis Redding, Joe Cocker, Teddy Pendergrass, Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles... bands like Santana, Steely Dan, Cream and Allman Brothers.

The group features some of the community’s most respected musicians, and performs regularly in the New York tri-state area; venues range from local clubs and cafes to outdoor festivals. On keyboards, rhythm guitar and vocals is the legendary Jon Cobert, a five-time Grammy-nominated musician who was, most famously, in John Lennon’s band during the 1970’s; more recently Jon has performed with Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews. On guitar and vocals is Chris Fox, who has opened for nationally-known acts in Manhattan such as Dave Crosby. Chris also writes the band’s original songs. On bass and vocals is Tony Tino, who has toured and recorded with Gavin DeGraw, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Clay Aiken, Ronnie Spector, and many others. Anchoring the groove is drummer Denny McDermott, who has toured with David Johansen and recorded with Donald Fagen of Steely Dan. 
THE SHOTS have a unique twist to some of the covers and originals they play....“Rocking Bagpipes” - They mix in the bagpipes to songs like The Black Eyed Peas, “I Gotta Feeling,” Billy Idol, “Dancing with Myself,” or AC/DC, “It’s a Long Way to the Top”.

Best known as one-third of the female harmony Americana trio Red Molly, Abbie Gardner has been recognized as an award-winning songwriter, as well, with such accolades as; 2008 Lennon Award Winner (folk) for “The Mind of a Soldier” and 2008 American Songwriter Magazine Grand Prize Lyric Winner for “I’d Rather Be”. Her song “Honey on My Grave” was also published in Sing Out! Magazine in 2008.

With sax, keys and harp, wailing guitars, awesome percussion and hot vocals. Band members are James Flower (lead vocals), Chris D'Orio (sax/harp), Ed Bonuomo (percussion), Jack D'Orio (drums), John Bonuomo (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Steve Lackey (guitar), "The Reverend" Tom Capasso (bass).

The Reddan Brothers are a hard hitting blues/rock trio with the miles to back it. The Reddan Brothers grew up backing legends of blues and rock such as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby and Jimmy Vivino. With their newly released CD “Skeleton Key Sessions” those road miles seem to be put to good use. The group has been seen on such high profile gigs as Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, Winchester Blues House Festival and the Blues on the Bridge Festival. The youthful energy of the band mixed with seasoned playing makes them a must see trio.
Denise Jordan Finley, in a rare classical appearance with the baroque trio "Three Friends Ensemble," will perform the well known mezzo soprano aria from J.S. Bach's Cantata #208, "Sheep Will Safely Graze," as part of the Smithfield Presbyterian Church's regular Sunday service, to celebrate Mothers' Day. 
Beanrunner Café is featuring a brunch menu and a performance by the Tony Jefferson Duo. The Duo performs jazz standards and classic tunes by artists such as Miles Davis, Antonio Carlos Jobim and others. 
The High Falls Café celebrates Mother’s Day with an afternoon of swinging jazz standards performed by vocalist Terry Blaine, renowned jazz pianist Mark Shane & drummer extraordinaire Matt Hoffmann. Terry’s unique interpretations of classic jazz standards have brought her international recognition as one of the few contemporary female jazz singers still performing the hot small band swing material from the 1930s.
The High Falls Café will offer their breakfast and lunch menus, as well as service from the Café’s full bar. There’s no cover charge for “Jazz At The Falls" Sunday brunches, however we do pass the hat for a suggested $5 donation. Terry, Mark & Matt have always drawn a great crowd of jazz fans & swing dancers alike, so reservations are strongly suggested. (845) 687-2699.
Lex performing blues and other tunes with naughty lyrics from the 1920's on. She will be backed by pianist Al Garzon and a few other musical guests to be announced. 
Gay Marshall, who played Diana Morales in "A Chorus Line" on Broadway will perform her Edith Piaf tribute at The Howland Cultural Center in Beacon on May 8.
Ms. Marshall's show, titled PIAF: Queen of Heart, is not an impersonation of the French icon, but an exciting, personal interpretation which includes rare and known Piaf material, along with Marshall's own English adaptations. Marshall worked with Piaf's true friends and collaborators to create a vivid picture of the woman they described as full of joie de vivre and humor, despite the well documented tragedies in her life. This is a brilliant show for the entire family, and very accessible to those who don't speak French. Her CD, "Gay Marshall Sings Piaf", became a Billboard Top World Album in 2009. She is magical!
LEEVON YOUNG JR., published author, screenwriter and music producer. Leevon's writing style is gritty and realistic. Understanding the importance of not pigeon holing himself to one genre, Mr. Young has written books in every genre, even creating his own genre called Reality Writing. Having a lot to say, his books are vastly entertaining and the reader become entrenched in the story. With a following and a high demand, from fans, he is now working to change his novels into movies.

On stage alone, armed with a single guitar, David Wilcox weaves a rich tapestry in every concert. He's a tremendously talented singer and inventive guitarist, utilizing numerous alternative tunings and cut capos. In addition to his musical skills, he's an expert storyteller. Performances feature his beautifully crafted songs offset by wonderful stories and wry observations on the world. His shows are a journey through the full range and richness of life. While there's plenty of weight to the topics covered in his lyrics, David's wit is never far away as well. His songs are an invitation to ask for more - more from your music, more from your relationships, more from your life. They are intended to be the soundtrack for a life well lived.
David Ferrard is a Scottish-American singer-songwriter and folk musician based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Born to a Scottish father and an American mother he was brought up on both sides of the Atlantic. His transatlantic roots can be clearly traced in is music, whether singing his own compositions or interpreting a traditional ballad or song by Robert Burns.

Latin Jazz is the word in Ulster County's capital as LVanHart Artist Productions presents another in the series Jazz @ Stella May Gallery Theater on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. This show again starts with a Meet the Artists session at 8pm and the live music starting at 8:30pm. Seating Reservations are strongly recommended by calling Stella May Productions at 845-331-7955. Tickets available at the door are $15 per person or $8 with valid student ID. This show is all ages.
Stella May Gallery Theater, the Hudson Valley's newest artistic venue, is located at 101 Greenkill Avenue in Kingston, NY. Free dedicated parking is available in the adjacent lot at 5 Sterling Street. The California-raised, Costa Rican trombonist, composer and arranger Luis Bonilla has sought out, taken in and mastered an incredible array of musical styles. Tonight, Bonilla says, the ensemble will perform a mix of original material and jazz favorites with a Jelly Roll Morton tinge, sans piano!

Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester. 12 Grapes is pleased to have the talented guitarist, band leader and singer/songwriter Petey Hop as host. Pete opens the evening with a few of his original songs, and will occasionally join in an impromptu jam.
