Hope Machine-the band-was born at a 2003 Woody Guthrie hootenanny hosted by Woody's granddaughter Anna Canoni. It's core members are Fred Gillen Jr., Steve Kirkman, and Eric Puente. They rarely do a show without a special guest or two sitting in and their performances are true celebrations of community, spontaneity, and freedom.
Their debut CD March, released in the Winter of 2006/2007, was recorded live-in-the-studio and received folk airplay all over the East Coast. The follow-up CD, Big Green Hope Machine, features some of Gillen and Kirkman's finest songs and great special guests. The CD has gotten great reviews and airplay all over the world.
Hope Machine is always evolving, but the message remains one of hope, peace, and freedom. While they sing many of their own songs, they also remain an "official program" of the Woody Guthrie Foundation, and carry Woody's message wherever they go.

Singer-songwriter, Paul Maloney has played in many local bands including the Saturday Night Bluegrass Band and Cleoma's Ghost. Marji Zintz is a vocalist/arranger/acoustic guitarist who has performed and recorded as a soloist and in duet settings in the jazz and folk genres. The show starts at 7:00pm at the Woodstock Library.  An R&B/Rock band from New York’s Hudson Valley, whose music combines compelling melodies with deep rhythmic grooves. Their vast repertoire of both cover tunes and originals is geared to bringing an audience to its feet dancing. The group features some of the community’s most respected musicians, including Jon Cobert, a five-time Grammy-nominated musician who was in John Lennon’s band during the 1970’s and more recently has performed with Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews. On bass is Tony Tino, who has toured and recorded with Gavin DeGraw, Southside Johnny, Ronnie Spector and many others. Chris Fox, on guitar, has opened for nationally-known acts in Manhattan such as Dave Crosby; Chris writes all of the band’s original music. |

Not your typical Open Mic! Thursdays the Flash Band starts with great groove tunes then opens the mic to those who've signed up at Bridgewaters. We get seasoned players as well as emerging artists arriving solo, as a duo, or with a band. Good atmosphere, good music, good food, good people, good times and a good place to network and DANCE!
Held the 3rd Thursday of every month, our Rock Jam is hosted by members of 'The Track' with special guests and alternates. All members are local singer songwriters who have come together in their love of ROCK. With Drew Bordeaux, the house guitarist/MC who occasionally switches it up on violin and bass, Rich Kelly on bass, Chris Burke on keys and Tito Wilson on drums and vocals. Bring your band or just you and join in the jam. Great musicians, and a great time had by all. Sign-up begins 8pm.
