 Marc Von Em is a soulfully energized singer/songwriter who's sound is rooted in Blues, Folk, Rock and Reggae. Driven by his fluid acoustic guitar playing and rich powerful voice, Marc's talents will blow you away from the very first note. Marc tells us that tonight, he's going to "bust out" some songs rarely played in public.
Marc has toured nationally and internationally with the Rob Thomas Band. Rob remarked, "I asked him to open up a 10,000 seat gig. Just him, his guitar, and his songs. He killed it!" Marc has also shared bills with such artists as Lucy Kaplansky, Martin Sexton, Richie Havens, Glenn Tillbrook and others. One reviewer writes: "... I can genuinely say if you haven't heard or seen him live, you are only cheating yourself." Marc has three CD's that are each amazing. His second studio recording, entitled "Free", has sold more than 6,000 copies. Marc has been working on his next solo CD, expected to be released soon.

 Fred Gillen Jr. cut his teeth as bassist in the popular roots-rock band Rain Deputies before going solo in 1997. He has released numerous CDs and was voted "Best Folk Artist" for 3 consecutive years by readers of The Westchester Weekly.
Matt Turk is a soulful vocalist, who plays the guitar, mandolin and lap steel. He adeptly combines various musical styles and was inspired to write songs of social justice by Pete Seeger and by his three-year stint working for God's Love-We Deliver. Matt has released a number of highly acclaimed albums.
In 2008, Gillen & Turk released their first duo CD, Backs to the Wall. Their song, Fall Down, appeared on CMJ's 10,000 copy 2008 Player Compilation CD and they were featured on NYC Soundtracks on the MSG network.

Sometime back in the late 1990’s Happy and Artie Traum started putting together holiday concerts to benefit the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild. They were called “Solstice” concerts to make them inclusive and non–sectarian…a celebration for the entire community. “Each year we gathered a collection of musically compatible friends, and the artist line–up became a “Who’s Who” of area talent.” recalls Happy. “The shows continued annually with great success until Artie’s untimely passing in 2008. The following year, feeling that this would have been his wish, I reinstated the tradition in Artie’s memory.”

The audience submits titles of "songs that have never been written". In a fictional "backer's audition", these titles inspire improvised songs in act one. In act two, the audience's favorite song serves as the basis of an entire (45 minute) Broadway musical, complete with costumes and set.
The format received a rave review from The New York Times when it premiered in New York in 1995. You ain’t seen nuttin’ like it, folks!

 The First Annual Holiday Concert Benefit “A Celebration in Song”. This 90-minute concert, featuring Broadway talent and performers from the Hudson Valley area, kicks off the Capital Building Campaign for the New Windsor Playhouse, formerly known as Mandel’s Grand Street Theatre. The show is directed and choregraphed by the Hudson Valley’s own Joyce A. Presutti, Executive Artistic Director of Just Off Broadway, Inc. A Limited Number of Premiere VIP Reserved Seats are available for $40 and include a reception with the cast and entry into a raffle to win one of these prizes: $1,000.00 Gift Card from Toys R Us, 2 Orchestra House Seats to Mary Poppins on Broadway, with a Back Stage Tour, 4 Tickets and parking pass to the January 2, 2011 New York Jets/Buffalo game, A beautiful John Gould Original Framed Print. Aleah Long’s music and lyrics, a unique blend of World Beat and spoken word with musical influences from R&B and Jazz Fusion to Native American drumming and chanting, flow from her transformational journeys, and takes the listener to inner spaces that ignite compassion, magic, and healing. Her talent in composition and musical arrangement allows you to sit and meditate or shake your booty. En Full Circle is a multi-cultural ensemble of talented musicians from the Hudson Valley, including Neil Alexander, Ubaka Hill, Kitt Potter, Charlie Kniceley, Ray Levier, Yaniyah Pearson, Matt “Moose” Scott Alexander, and Evelina Otero.

 Frank Lacy takes everything from Ragtime and Swing to Afro Beat and Hip-Hop to create his own style of jazz. He has toured with greats like Dizzy Gillespie, Abdullah Ibrahim, Henry Threadgill, Julius Hemphill, Oliver Lake, The Eurythmics, Carla Bley and Don Pullen and currently tours with Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy and the big bands of McCoy Tyner and David Murray.
Johnathan Blake has worked with the Oliver Lake Big Band, Roy Hargrove, and David Sanchez and is currently a member of Tom Harrell Quintet, Russell Malone Quartet, and Kenny Barron Trio. He also performs with Donny McCaslin, Jaleel Shaw, Avishai Cohen, and Omer Avital among others.
Kevin Ray has performed or recorded with John Stubblefield, Oliver Lake, Greg Osby, Andrew Hill, Pheeroan Aklaff, Marty Ehrlich, Curtis Fowlkes, Elliott Sharp, Ray Anderson, The Kitchen Houseblend Band, The Flux Quartet, and others. He has premiered major works by a wide range of composers, incl Lee Hyla, Joe McPhee and Leroy Jenkins.

Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band! 12 Grapes is normally closed on Mondays, but the second Monday of each month we open at 6:00 for dinner to present this incredible 18-piece Big Band, featuring a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and world-class drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff.
