The group plays soul jazz, a groove-infused style of jazz that incorporates blues, gospel and rhythm & blues. The sound is reminiscent of the great organ trios of the 1960's with some modern and original elements thrown in as well. The result is a fun atmosphere that moves people and makes everyone feel good.

Winner of The New York City Song Slam, Kathleen has played at venues in and around NYC including The Bitter End, The Knitting Factory, The Cutting Room, and "Live on Stage" at the World Trade Center concert series.  Jon Pousette-Dart formed the Pousette-Dart Band in 1973, working the same
musical territory as the Eagles, James Taylor and Little Feat. The band released 4 albums with Capitol Records, had Billboard chart action with the hits “For Love,” “Amnesia,” and “County Line,” and toured the U.S. working with The Byrds, Bonnie Raitt, Peter Frampton, Yes, the J.Geils Band, Jonathan Edwards, Charlie Daniels Band, Manfred Mann, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Journey, Father Guido Sarducci, Emmylou Harris and Randy Newman, among others.
Since then, Jon has established himself as a respected songwriter in collaborations with Al Anderson, Gary Burr, Darrell Scott, Jennifer Kimball and Kostas. He also works in film & TV, contributing to the History Channel and ABC’s “Lost.” Jon has released 3 more albums, with another in the works.

 "New York Boss Guitar Man" Dave Fields is a "genre busting" guitarist whose performances are always electrifying, awe-inspiring and intensely passionate. Dave has worked with many musical legends including Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon, The Drifters and Tommy James.
Tonight, we're pleased to welcome back Dave and his special guest, JT Lauritsen, a Blues artist from Norway whose band, JT Lauritsen and the Buckshot Hunters, perform around the globe. Last year, JT and Dave performed at the Ground Zero Blues Club in Memphis. The Blues harp and accordion (his "squeezebox") are JT's signature sound. Add that to the virtuoso guitar playing of Dave Fields and you're in for one sweet night of Blues.

The Westchester Swing Band is back again... 12 Grapes is normally closed on Mondays, but one Monday each month we open at 6:00 for dinner and feature this incredible musical experience that has to be seen (and heard) to be believed. First-time patrons are blown away by the sound and songs of this 18-piece orchestra. Classic Swing music, wonderful vocals, full horn section and world-class musicians.
