 Bob Meyer, jazz drummer, has recorded numerous albums and CDs and played with jazz greats including Joe Lovano, Ed Schuller, Ken Werner, Judy Silvano, Perry Robinson, Glenn Moore, Cameron Brown, Andy Statman, Shelila Jordan, among many others.
Neil Alexander works with music in all forms and styles from Composer/Arranger and Production of Live Sound to Musical Theater, Modern Dance and Film. As an active musician he has recorded and/or performed with a variety of groups & artists including Gunther Hampel, Tal Ross (P-Funk), Charles Haynes, Erik Lawrence, and The Adaptors Movement Theater.

The thing is hosted by Nick and Kathleen (that's Kathleen Pemble, whom I had only ever heard about and always wanted to meet and now I have and she's really a great performer ~ just like I heard).

 A quirky blend of personalities and musical influences, the Ya Yas have been regulars on the Long Island music scene, performing in coffeehouses and cafes, local festivals, and private concert venues, toured 3 years with Dave Isaacs' country-roots band Jackalope Junction, and now call the Hudson Valley their home, where they are hard at work on their second album.

 The John Jorgenson Quintet features guitarist John Jorgenson, a founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and six-year member of Elton John's band. Artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Bonnie Raitt to Earl Scruggs have sought out Jorgenson's guitar work. John is known as one of the pioneers of the American gypsy jazz movement, and was chosen to portray Django Reinhardt in the feature film Head in the Clouds. His articles & lessons on gypsy jazz have appeared in prominent guitar magazines, and he has given master classes around the country. At his performances, audiences are amazed by John's dazzling guitar work, as well as his mastery as a clarinet player & vocalist. The Woodstock Music Shop presents its first workshop series focusing on songwriting and instrument specific classes. The workshops provide a structured learning environment for students to work together while having personal instruction from experienced teachers. The workshops will be held for a six week period with classes beginning October 17th at the Colony Cafe. All ages and levels are encouraged to attend the workshops. The Woodstock Music Shop will offer instrument and supply packages with each class, so even if you don’t have an instrument you can join in on the fun! As a finale for the workshops, we will host a concert for students, teachers, family and friends in December at the Colony.

Three acoustic artists take their turns in 30-minute sets, twice around. MANNY CORTEZ (pictured here) is a talented guitarist with strong vocals and striking lyrics. Manny's just cut his own CD and will be treating us to a few of his originals tonight, as well as some favorite covers. ED MULLANEY is a refreshingly upbeat entertainer, playing original and cover songs with skill and ease. Ed’s a Middle School teacher and brings a personal touch to all his performances, with his infectious smile and sharp sense of humor. Sheer joy with a guitar. MELISSA FRABOTTA was recently discovered at one of our Open Mic nights. From the very first note, we could tell she was a gifted singer, songwriter and guitarist. Mellissa has a voice that immediately gets you to pay attention. A beautiful young talent who has a lovely stage presence.

The Westchester Swing Band is back again... 12 Grapes is normally closed on Mondays, but on the 2nd Monday of every month we open at 6:00 for dinner and feature this incredible musical experience that has to be seen (and heard) to be believed. First-time patrons are blown away by the sound and songs of this 18-piece orchestra. Classic Swing music, wonderful vocals, full horn section and world-class musicians. 
Blues jam with Joe Bones ~ electric/acoustic. Come out to play or just to listen. Grab something to eat, enjoy the music.
