 The first performance in our Twilight Concert Series. Celebrate the summer solstice at an outdoor concert featuring Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” with solo violinist Krista Bennion Feeney. With the magnificent Hudson Highlands as a backdrop, the internationally acclaimed Loma Mar Quartet, joined by John Feeney bass, Owen Dalby violin, and lutist/guitarist Grant Herried, will perform these concertos commemorating the seasons. They will also perform music composed especially for the Quartet by Sir Paul McCartney. Lawn seating.
All programs are free with Storm King admission. All ages are welcome to attend.

Combining a sharp eye with a sly sense of humor reminiscent of John Prine, Mark Brown makes songs that hail from everywhere, incorporating ballads, cowboy songs, jigs, sideshow melodies, and field hollers. His songs give voice to craftsmen, broken-hearted mechanics, heavy equipment operators, squatters and girls with their dirt bikes.
Fran Palmieri is a top notch singer-songwriter performing with Robert Muller and Bruce Hildenbrand, collectively known as Trio Mio. Their mostly original repertoire shows their influences from rock, country, and jazz.

Henry Hudson and the Half Moon is about the voyage made by Henry Hudson in 1609. In that year Hudson, under contract to the Dutch East India Trading Company, sailed from Amsterdam northward towards the pole to search for a northeasterly route to china. Against orders, Hudson changed course and sailed westward to search for the passage. After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the ship eventually arrived at the mouth of the Hudson River. Hoping for the possibility of a passage, Hudson decided to explore this river, later named after him. The river was navigable up to the point where Albany now lies. There Hudson was forced to end the expedition. Because of breach of contract, he didn't dare return to Amsterdam and so sailed to England where other adventures followed.
The six performers are all from the Netherlands, and perform their original songs in Dutch and English.

Alchemy (formerly the Petersen House) was once owned by Albert Grossman, the founder of the famed Bearsville Studios and the president of Bearsville Records, where Todd Rundgren was the star producer. Grossman was the manager of several legendary artists, including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Band, Peter Paul and Mary, Happy and Artie Traum and countless others. (Happy Traum is playing at Alchemy on June 20th.) Our bar was a favorite hangout for these and many other Woodstock musicians. Jerry and the "Brothers" are one of the tightest, coolest, funky-est, baddest bands around. Whatever you do, do not miss this performance. Jerry's an accomplished singer, songwriter and bass player, influenced by the Blues and Country Music. His entree into the NYC Blues scene was by way of the now infamous Dan Lynch Blues Bar, running the Saturday afternoon jam session there. This little bar became the hub of the Blues scene in NYC. Jerry calls his time there "an education that could not be replicated." His band is comprised of a lighting-fast guitarist, killer drummer and a keyboard player who also wails on the sax.
