"...roots folk rock at its best....Quietly stunning in its seemingly simple beauty...and runs through the gamut of spiritual emotion without hurry or worry...it reminds us to relax and listen. Just listen." —Kenya Jones, ACED Magazine

"His vocals have a soulful, warm easy edge , never forced and flowing over a song like “Water Girl” as if Van Morrison had come from a sharecroppers’ farm. " —Paul Kerr, americana-uk.com

"It is such a privilege to have the opportunity to get to hear hardworking, asskicking artists like Mosley. The kind of artists that aren’t being force fed to mass consumers. The kind of artists that deserve the kind of audiences pre-fab products posing as musicians garner." —Robin Rothman-Editor, Go! Magazine/Times-Herald Record

pen Book is the working identity of singer/songwriters Michele Rubin and Rick Gedney. An amalgam of folk inflected styles with tunes that concern themselves with love and loss, their music crosses into the urban landscape as easily as it inhabits and embraces it's rural roots. The duo's harmonies are sublime and tastefully evocative; their music is amply fulfilling and the structures incorporate sounds that travel far outside the standard instrumentation of the base genre to incorporate sounds from the city and world.

Common Ground is thrilled to welcome back the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Preview Tour once again this year. As always, this year promises to be a special treat. Among the artists selected for the tour this year is Common Ground favorite, Anthony Da Costa. Joining the 16 year old Pleastantville phenom will be Lindsay Mac, Joe Crookston and Randall Williams. Classically trained cellist and singer-songwriter Lindsay Mac offers a fresh look at acoustic music by combining folk/pop structure with plucked and bowed cello. Joe Crookston's guitar playing, bubbling banjo and creative performance style exude a remarkable intergenerational, universal, and timeless quality. Randall Williams has been singing since childhood. He picked up his first acoustic guitar at age 14, and never let it go. Within one year, he began performing. After leaving the U.S. for the first time, Randall found his own folk/popular musical heritage being influenced by European traditions.
