Robert BockSinger-Songwriter, Folk/Traditional, and Americana
Robert Bock is a Singer/Songwriter from Queens, NY. He co-founded the Americana band, The Locksmiths, with his wife Krissy Bock in 2010. Their eponymous debut album was backed by Cole Quest & The City Pickers and received critical praise from Adobe & Teardrops and Ear to the Ground Music. They have toured nationally, playing cities from Austin to Nashville, as well as premier NYC venues including Rockwood Music Hall and The American Folk Art Museum. The Locksmiths’ most recent release, My Way in Manila, was featured in Countrypolitan Magazine and broadcast on WFUV and NPR. Robert has written for the stage, and his musical The Levy Debate qualified as a finalist for The Alec Baldwin Fellowship at The Singer's Forum in NYC. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and runs the social media for the Big City Folk Collective, a community of songwriters founded by Niall Connolly. Robert is currently working on a solo album as well as his next musical.
