Gravikord Duo  ... is a Duo performing Contemporary, Folk/Traditional, and Celtic music.

Bob Grawi on his lyrical new cross-cultural instrument the Gravikord with Pip Klein on classical silver flute and world percussion, are "The Gravikord Duo." Pip's tropical bird-like flute, and Bob's punchy polyrhythmic strings blend into their own "new folk and jazzy pop" instrumentals. Their music has been characterized as "intoxicatingly upbeat and joyful with a rhythm that refuses to be pinned down in any way."

They have been influenced by a great variety of great music from many world traditions and sometimes call what they do "NewFolkChamberJazz." People everywhere love hearing and seeing something new. Let the captivating sounds of the Gravikord and Flute add real excitement and interest to your special event!

For weddings we can make your day truly unique with our own original ceremonial music or we can also provide the traditional fare - from slow romantic standards to upbeat originals for the cocktail hour. The Gravikord Duo is also perfect for Corporate and Private Events, Music and Arts Festivals, Lecture-Concerts for Museums and Libraries, Craft Fairs, Regional Celebrations, and any event with a widely diverse audience.

We have performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Rainbow Room, The Carnivale di Venezia, The World Financial Center, The Kennedy Center, The Guggenheim Museum of Art, and many other well known venues. We are now located in Orange County and can offer you world class references and entertainment at down home prices. We will make your event memorable and help make you look good!
