Not only will the SAINTS OF SWING regale you with its terrific dance
music; they will also put on a fun-filled show featuring their 7 members
on piano, drums, tuba, bass, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, sax & flute,
plus PHENOMENAL VOCALIST Miss Rene Bailey! Included in the band are Mike
Kull - piano; David Winograd - tuba/bass; Gene Randolph, drums; Mike
Rosler, trumpet/vocals;

Formerly Featured Vocalist at the Peg Leg Bates Country Club for 20 years
Rene Bailey uses her vocal clarity to sell the blues with true feeling.
Combining gospel, jazz, and rhythm/blues, she has performed with such
great as Louis Armstrong, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Dave Brubeck, Ruth
Brown, Paul Anka, Sam Cooke, and many more...
Rene Bailey started singing gospel as a young girl in her Georgia
church. Moving north to Connecticut, she hit the New York City scene
where she sang blues and jazz. The transition from gospel to nightclub
work came naturally, and Rene became the featured vocalist at the Peg Leg
Bates Country Club for over 20 years.
In church it's called "shouting" - the gospel dance. "They get up and
shout and shout and shout." In a nightclub when Rene Bailey sings and
"it" hits, you holler, "Yes, indeed!"

 Field + Supply is a modern interpretation of a traditional arts and crafts fair, & will be held at the Hutton Brickyards on May 26-28 in Kingston, NY. Hutton Brickyards is a symbol of New York’s industrial prowess as the area’s leading brickmaker for over 100 years.
The Saints of Swing features Joe Vincent Tranchina-piano; David Winograd-upright bass/tuba; Dale DeMarco-saxes/clarinet/flute/vocals; Barry Bryson, trumpet/vocals; Ken Foy-trombone/vocals; Larry Balestra-drums; and the phenomenal vocalist MISS RENE BAILEY. We will open the weekend with a set from 10am to noon on Friday, October 11, AND THEN STROLL THE GROUNDS WITH OUR DIXIELAND ACOUSTIC BAND FROM NOON TO 1Pm
RENE is the REAL THING, as she sang with Louis Armstrong and Sam Cooke, among many others!. And maybe a GUEST artist or two will drop by!
