Pete Santora's "WWW.ebsters"
by Philip H. Farber
"WWW.ebsters" is a collection of some great rock tunes, all penned by Santora and performed by him with some help from notable area musicians including Jim Weider, Randy Ciarlante, and Tom Cosgroove. While some Beatle influence is occassionally noticeable, this isn't Beatlemania by any means. "WWW.ebsters" is mostly blues-rock, with a hint of honky-tonk, a touch of C&W, a lot of great guitar riffs, and a top notch production job. This album will likely appeal to a broad range of rock fans. Santora tells us that a second album is almost completed, and that he will be giving a "Remembering Beatlemania" performance at the West Strand Grill, 50 Abeel St., Kingston, on May 14 [1999]. The latter will most likely be Fab Four tunes, but perhaps Santora will sneak in one of his rocking originals.
