Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester. 
Mike DelGuidice- Front man Mike DelGuidice, living a dream. After 18 years of playing Billy Joel’s music in his band Big Shot, Mike DelGuidice now lives a dream come true. In October of 2013, Billy Joel heard Mike sing, and then hired Mike on the spot to join his band full time. And now you can see Mike tour with Billy Joel all over the US & world in major arenas and stadiums including every month at the iconic Madison Square Garden. On Billy Joel’s recent SiriusXM Channel you can hear Billy talking about Mike and how much he sounds just like him – “That’s me…I know my voice… That’s a tape…but it was this guy… Mike DelGuidice.”- Bily Joel
Mike is the only musician on the planet, and probably the history of music for this type of situation, where the front guy of the band is actually in the band of the artist his band covers. It is the epitome of the Cinderella Story (in his case, Cinderfella). 
The Dover High School Music Boosters will be hosting The Big Band Sound in a fundraising concert this evening outside of Dover High School, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., for the 10th time. The Big Band Sound will be performing many of your favorite jazz standards from all the famous big bands. As a fitting conclusion to the evening, members of the school's jazz ensemble will join The Big Band Sound in a grand finale! There will also be a classic car show in the parking lot. Admission is $10/vehicle and proceeds of the evening will benefit the music education offerings at the school. The Music Boosters will be grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs and offering refreshments for sale. If it rains, the concert will be held indoors, inside the school.
Directions: Dover High School is on the east side of Route 22, 3 miles north of Wingdale (County Route 21/Pleasant Ridge Road) and 10 miles north of Pawling (Route 55). It's at 2386 Route 22 in Dover Plains.

The Mighty SPECTRUM Band has a long standing reputation as one of the most dynamic band in the NY/NJ area. The Ahlfabet Jazz Band plays traditional swing Jazz in the various styling's of artists such as Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Earl Hines, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman, Fletcher Henderson, Bennie Moten, and Bix Biederbecke. 
Join The Italian Center and the Drizzle for another great night of dinner, drinks and dancing! All are welcome. You can skip dinner if you like (although why would you when the food is this good??) and just come for drinks and dancing. Either way, don't miss it!
We're back at one of our favorite venues. The Chain Gang will perform a mix of classic rock and pop (60's through 80s) at this very popular establishment. Billy Joel, The Beatles, The Eagles, BS&T, and tons more. The gang at La Puerta Azul are great hosts. Come in for dinner, or just a drink.

Bloated Toad Returns to The Alley Kat!
Two-time Latin Grammy nominee Michael Tate leads 3D Rhythm of Life, a band the blends the sounds of Latin, R&B, Reggae and the flavors of the Caribbean. The band's melodies are reminiscent of classic Latin performers like Marc Anthony and Carlos Santana, and their original style of LATIN-TROPICAL-SOUL.

Free outdoor summer concert series in the center of Woodstock on the Village Green. The yearly concert series features eight concerts spread throughout the summer with performances by local musicians. The Rock Tavern Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern, will be featuring Amy Fradon on Saturday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. Open mic performances will be available to all. The Drizzle brings The Funk to The Captain's Table in Monroe once again. 
Free show in one of my favorite venues! A rare public appearance in which I focus mainly on guitar instrumentals from classical to popular plus new age, Celtic, Spanish, and more. Although it is free you are cordially invited to make reservations; not required but guarantees you a better seat and is always helpful for the venue and me. Brunch, (praised by the NY Times), plus all manner of desserts and drinks are available. This will be held in the front dining room Main Street Stage.

Simon Joyner is touring on his latest album, "Step Into the Earthquake." Joyner is a renowned American singer-songwriter who first came to prominence during the Lo-Fi movement of the early 90's alongside contemporaries mining similar territory like Will Oldham, Peter Jefferies, the Mountain Goats, and Bill Callahan. Joyner was championed early by the late British DJ, John Peel, who famously played Joyner's 1994 LP, "The Cowardly Traveller Pays His Toll", start to finish on one of his BBC programs, initially making Joyner more well known overseas than in his own country. He is often referred to as one of the forefathers of the Omaha music scene and an influence on his friend, Conor Oberst, of Bright Eyes. His discography includes twenty-two full-length recordings. This is a rare chance to see his band in Hudson!
