Robt Sarazin Blake’s new Double Album ‘Recitative’ was recorded in the Hudson Valley at The Building in Marlboro, NY (The original home of The Falcon).

‘I didn’t know I was searching for The Hudson Valley Sound until I stumbled inside it. Lee, Connor, Brandon and Will climbed on stage after my gig at The Falcon and I immediately knew I was hearing the sound of my new record. Dylan and The Band started it. Van Morrison came searching for it. Jimi Hendrix, John Sebastian, Paul Butterfield, Janis Joplin, Maria Muldaur and so many more made music in this valley where the drums, organ, horns and guitars all put the swirl around the rhymes.’

‘Recitative’, in 16 tracks, investigates Couples, US drone attacks, Work, Single Women, The Corner of Saturday Night, The Other End of Fck It, and The Rock & Roll Dream.

Twenty years into recording and writing, Blake celebrates his unusual songs forms, which land between spoken word, folk song, rock song & theatrical installation...

Blue Oyster Cult rose from the 1970s ashes to become one of the nation’s all time greatest hard-rock ensembled. B.O.C. continues to tour hard and loud, kicking out jams at every opportunity. From humble beginnings right across Long Island’s sound, B.O.C. gave us hits including ‘Burnin’ for You”, the tongue in cheek “Godzilla”, and the ghostly guitar and cowbell of “(Don’t Fear) the Reaper”. Radio hits, record breaking albums, and pop culture recognition on SNL, Blue Oyster Cult is a national treasure.

The FALCON

Marlboro, NY   See Map
Hipbone Records recording artist Alexis P Suter with Ray Grappone, drummer/percussionist, producer/vocalist Vicki Bell and Dave Keyes on keyboards/vocals deliver their mix of Gospel, Blues, Traditional, poignant, and time-honored American music, up-close and personal.

Blues Music Award nominee Alexis P. Suter is a powerhouse bass/baritone vocalist with the ability to go to "that other place" where singers go when they are lost in the music. It is no wonder the late B.B. King and the late Levon Helm were big fans. Suter and her band have played nearly 100 of Helm’s shows in Woodstock NY and opened for “The King” when he visited her hometown of NYC.

The Ministers of Sound feature Ray Grappone (APSB, Buster Poindexter, Levon Helm) on drums and percussion, Vicki Bell (APSB, Open Door, Corey Daye) on vocals and percussion, and Dave Keyes (Smokey Joe's Cafe, Odetta, Bo Diddley, David Johansen, Popa Chubby).

Rooted in the tradition of activist folk music, Hudson Valley Sallie has an unending chain that goes back centuries and spans the globe. We are dedicated to keeping alive some of the oldest songs, and introducing some of the newest. In fact, each set typically includes some songs more than a century old and some less than a year old. While harmonic patterns and rhyme styles have evolved over the decades, we are not afraid to experiment with tradition. Our goal is to make the oldest songs sound fresh, and to make the newest feel like you've always known them. Most remarkable of all is how little many of the themes have changed - peace, poverty, and justice were the heart of the movements then, and still are today. Our unique combination of musical sensibilities produces a new voice that adds one more link in the chain.

Yonkers native and practicing attorney, Michael Attanasio, has been singing for more than 40 years. As a child he learned Sinatra songs through osmosis by listening to his father's records. In his teens he discovered Joe Cocker, Chicago, Led Zeppelin, Santana, Clapton and the Allman Brothers. He spent time in a rock band but before the 70's ended he became captivated by Sara Vaughan, Al Jarreau and Joe Sample. Then came years singing in church, his soulful solos inspiring many. Michael's eclectic tastes are evident in his set list, drawing from the jazz standards of his Sinatra era father and those of his 60's and 70's music awakening period. Jazz, rock, soul, blues; Sinatra, Johnny Hartman, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Joe Cocker, Lionel Ritchie. Come hear them all in an intimate evening of songs from two generations.

Drew Bordeaux has opened for Daughtry and Boz Scaggs and performed at the 2016 Pleasantville Music Fest. Catch this up-close-and-personal performance.

Drew's sets are rooted in percussive acoustic guitar and earthy/soulful vocals, laced with live loops and violin solos. Drew meshes together core influences including classics like Fleetwood Mac and BB King to Talking Heads and Stone Temple Pilots -- with contemporaries like Mumford and Sons and Hozier to Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. The resulting sound is often considered a mix of Ben Harper and Jimi Hendrix, his vocals reminiscent of Eddie Vedder and Darius Rucker.

Drew's performed at an impressive list of venues, including Bostons the Middle East and Sanders Theater, and NYCs the Bitter End, Ace of Clubs, and CBGB, and is a 12 Grapes favorite.
