Danielle's career is truly "outside the box." She sings everything
classical, from the Renaissance and early Baroque periods to music that's just
been written--some of it for her! Along with the leading roles she's
performed in opera, she has starred in musical theater productions. But
she also loves and performs folk, jazz and popular music. Her own songs
meld classical, folk and contemporary elements in a way that eludes
categories, creating a song genre that is all hers. And she's
collaborating with writers and composers on new performance art pieces.
Now primarily based in Milbridge, ME, after more than 2 decades as one of the Hudson Valley's most respected musicians and teachers, Danielle travels for concerts (she hopes to renew this when live concerts are safe again!), and teaches online.
In 2020 she launched a new all-online teaching initiative: "Sing into Joy: Singing as Your Path to Wellness," with additional resources like online workshops and subscription services.
