Poughkeepsie Live is in its 15th season of providing a professional forum for musicians to showcase their talents. Poughkeepsie Live is a Time Warner Cable 6 live half hour, weekly music program. Every genre imaginable has been represented at one time or another, with musicians coming from the tri-state area, including: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and acts from New York City. The talent base ranges from the Hudson Valley area, the entire North East region as well as national.

The true spirit of Poughkeepsie Live… is its crew! A mostly volunteer troupe composed of 10-12 people. Many of them currently work in the television industry and use their talents to better the show. "We want to have fun, we want the guests to have fun, and we want the viewers to have fun. We tell the guests, all you're required to do is have fun" - Kathy Gran, camera operator - 12 years. Michael Dell the shows host and volunteer for the past 6 years, is also a well-known Hudson Valley musician, who sets the stage with an interview segment highlighting each week's musical guest.
