Arc Iris "Icon of Ego"The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
This fall, Arc Iris releases Icon of Ego , its third groundbreaking album, as a trio that packs the heft of a far bigger band with fully realized sonic and visual intensity. Displaying an array of costumes, flare, and light rigs, enhanced by choreographed dance moves, an Arc Iris live performance is a proper spectacle!

In Icon of Ego , the band interrogates the notions of celebrity, fame, and idol worship. What makes an icon? How do people fall under the spell of a charismatic other (or entity)? What is it like to be that icon?

Art-pop power trio Arc Iris fuses story-based songs with dense electronic and orchestral arrangements. The group, which began as the solo project of Jocie Adams, formerly of The Low Anthem, now includes keyboardist and sample artist Zach Tenorio-Miller and drummer Ray Belli.

“Intelligent and interesting writing, sublime vocals, stellar playing” - Lonesome Highway

Dylan Doyle Band -- EP Release! The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Based in the Hudson Valley, rising star Dylan Doyle has been performing nationally, as well as internationally. Southern bred, northern raised, his trio’s style of music lies somewhere between roots rock and jam funk. It evokes Woodstock and dips into southern soul. It’s a uniquely American sound Doyle calls “a big melting pot.”

After sharing the stage with the young musician in Memphis a few years back, Ben Cauley, sole survivor of the Otis Redding plane crash and co-founder of the Bar-Kays likened Dylan to a young Jimi Hendrix.

When asked about the wave of young talent rising from the Hudson Valley, Van Morrison guitarist John Platania commented “Dylan Doyle is the future.”

Bill Payne of Little Feat described Dylan’s work as “imaginative and original.”

When legendary folk music icon Arlo Guthrie took to the road to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of his seminal song “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree,” he was incredibly moved by the feedback from enthusiastic fans. Alice’s Restaurant- Back By Popular Demand Tour will coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the feature film “Alice’s Restaurant,” originally released in 1969, starring Arlo as himself, directed by famed director Arthur Peen! “I didn’t think I was gonna live long enough to have to learn ‘Alice’s Restaurant’ again,” Arlo Guthrie says with a smile. “It was a quirky kinda thing to begin with. Nobody writes a 18-minute monologue expecting fame and fortune. The initial success of the song really took me by surprise more than anyone else. The fact that I have contended with it for five decades either by having to learn it again or by not doing it, has been an interesting balancing act. I’m surely looking forward to it again being a centerpiece of live repertoire.”

“Andersen is the most elegant of singers.” - Rolling Stone

“Eric Andersen is a great ballad singer and writer.” - Bob Dylan

Eric Andersen is widely regarded as one of the most poetic songwriters to spring from the Greenwich Village folk scene of the 1960’s - a multifaceted, complex and singularly driven artist whose early career saw great expectations waylaid by misfortune.

A remastered two CD set has been made available, containing Andersen's BLUE RIVER his 1972 CBS debut produced by Norbert Putnam, and STAGES (his 1973 "lost" album for Columbia). These recordings feature, among others, Leon Russell, Joan Baez and Dan Fogelberg.
