Opening Act
with Globelamp / Elizabeth Lefey
The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Elizabeth Le Fey, a.k.a Globelamp, has a voice that can be ethereal, savage, or as shimmery as California sunshine through the leaves of redwoods, dark as a Washington rainstorm, but always haunting. Globelamp sings of loss, longing, survival and the enchantments of nature.

On her new album, The Orange Glow, Globelamp is ultimately able to emerge from the haunted forest alone, guided by the light of her own inner lantern. We follow close behind, transfixed and transformed, our hearts lodged, like a piece of the Faerie Queen’s rare tourmaline, firmly in our throats. “There are rivers and streams” leading back to her. “Lay your sorrows at her feet.”

Perrotta toured internationally with acts including Guster, Jason Colette of Broken Social Scene and The Barenaked Ladies.

Perrotta’s third album Tonight (2010) coincided with the birth of her first child. Performances and music from Tonight, including live video art synchronized to the album were used for a Pepsi-Cola commercial. Ghost of Paul Revere, Max Davis, Sean McCarthy, Griffin SherryThe FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
We grew up listening to Radiohead and the Beatles and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd," says Griffin Sherry, guitarist/singer in The Ghost Of Paul Revere. "Everyone assumed we were a bluegrass band because we were playing these traditional instruments, but we weren’t writing traditional music. We were just writing songs with the instruments we had."

The result is a sound the Portland, Maine-based band describes as "holler folk," because it invokes the rich communal tradition of field hollers, call-and-response melodies, sing-along hooks, and densely layered harmonies. That sense of musical camaraderie is essential to everything The Ghost of Paul Revere does, and nowhere is it more evident than their sophomore album, ''Monarch.'

July 13th, 19th, 20th at 8pm July 15th, 21st at 2pm and 7pm

Paramount Hudson Valley Arts' (501c3) Executive Director John Amato is proud to announce Recovery Rep's Production of "3 By Tennessee Williams," which consists of three one act plays penned by one of the greatest playwrights of the twentieth century: Tennessee Williams. Unlike many playwrights, Williams (The Glass Menagerie, Street Car Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and many others) continued to create short plays throughout his long and storied career. "Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen," "This Property is Condemned," and "I Can't Imagine Tomorrow" are three enigmatic and surprising works chosen for this evening.

"These three plays illuminate the struggle of those who feel alien to the society that surrounds them" said Daniel Amenda, who will direct all three plays. "It shows their strengths and their flaws, and methods on coping."

Her fine songwriting stands out in front at every performance, along with her smoky rich alto and stellar guitar playing. In the last 18 months KJ has performed in Italy, Egypt, St. Barth, Nepal, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland and Alaska, and held a residency in NYC's The 55 Bar.

Multiple award-winner, Denhert, is powerful in voice, with lyrics full of intelligent insight, and her musicianship is impeccable. Her eclectic yet unified performances reach out to audiences without compromising her music and beliefs. She performs the unusual feat of being both highly individual and quite accessible.

Jess Erick - Her voice & vocal style have a subtle, unexpected power. Typically stops the room. The experience borders on surreal.

CF Burke - You may know him as Chris Burke, from of our favorite bands (Johnny Feds, Electric Beef). As a soloist, CF Burke really shines. He'll share songs from his 2015 solo EP, "Halfway Ballet".

Jessi Mason - One reviewer writes, "Mason is one of the best pop songwriters around... every song she has is a gem." Her original songs are honest & intimate.

Steven Wright Mark - Just off a tour with the Jessica Lynn Band, Steven will share his original music with us.

Mishti - She's a Rocker. Songwriter. Ridiculously talented. A singer whose vocals are hard to define, but unmistakably... Mishti. Currently taking the NYC songwriter scene by storm.

Rich Kelly - Playing modern acoustic rock with "the intensity and integrity of the Blues", Rich Kelly has been a fixture on the local music scene for years.

70 Lower High State
Phoenicia, NY   See Map
“Heather is like two great acts in one, sliding from sweet acoustic Appalachian old-timey vibe with Patty Griffinesque lyrics to brassy New Orleans blues piano with a bone thrown to Bessie Smith.” – Lone Star Music Magazine.

She’s fronted a jazz quartet and composed and recorded neoclassical piano works. On stage Pierson belts out the blues on one song and nails mountain folk on the next. In the words of WVPE DJ Al Kniola, “She can mesmerize you on the piano, the guitar – even the melodica.” And she also writes truly remarkable songs.

In describing Heather Pierson, Acoustic Live NYC exclaims, “Her overall virtuosity is astounding.” But Heather Pierson finally met her match in the trio that now bears her name. They are just as skilled and versatile as her.

The concert will be held inside the intimate acoustically exquisite old Phoenicia Railway Station (The Empire State Railway Museum). Tickets are $17 or $15 with RSVP to flyingcatmusic@gmail.com. For more info call 845-688-

They’re back!

America’s journey has found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best-known tunes, which also include “I Need You”, “Ventura Highway”, “Don’t Cross the River”, “Tin Man”, “Lonely People”, and “Sister Golden Hair” were cornerstones of the 1970’s Top 40 and FM rock radio. Yet beyond their impressive catalog of hits, listeners would discover there was always much more to America than surface perceptions. The combination of Gerry Beckley’s melodic pop rock and Dewey Bunnell’s use of folk-jazz elements, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with Dan Peek’s more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics.

Eighteen year old Singer, Songwriter and Performing Artist Matt Mulhare, hails from Florida, New York. He has graduated from S.S. Seward Institute, attending college at Belmont University in Nashville, TN this fall.

His love for music started early, at age 6 when his parents gave him his first guitar, and he’s been playing ever since. His love for performing started a year ago with his first concert in his own backyard in front of 50 people. He was hooked and has been performing to larger crowds throughout the tri-state area. He is currently a staple at The Red Lion on Bleecker Street in NYC, playing weekly on a Friday or Saturday night.

Many artists have and continue to influence his music and songwriting, and each of his performances reflect his willingness to explore and learn.

Sidi Touré is a highly acclaimed practitioner of Songhaï Music with two Malian National Arts Awards for Best Singer. Touré led Gao’s regional orchestra, The Songhaï Stars, prior to his solo releases and tours. Since his debut album, Sidi has performed at leading festivals worldwide.

For Sidi Touré's fourth release, Toubalbero (named for the big traditional drum used to call and gather people in Gao) he has created a danceable, dynamic, and joyous album played with some of the most exciting new faces on the Mailian music scene. A revered leader whose feet are deep in the Northern Mali music tradition - despite the region’s significant political challenges - who brims with optimism.

Perhaps the song from Toubalber that genuinely captures the spirit of the album is “Heyyeya,” an expression to describe a shout of joy. It is based on a Songhai folk song about the joy of new marriage.

Country gospel roots and southern swing deeply welcome black leather grit in new intertwining medley. Jen Reilly and Eddy Bluma collaborate with tempting harmonies and lonesome spirituals, which “harbor the spirits that dwell in the hidden hollows of Appalachia.” Exploring the origins of the oral folk tradition that touches outlaw and rock ballads, the duo sings suspenseful and captivating stories of fairies, earth, and work that call into our current socio-political times. Far-reaching, yet familiar; The New Zeitgeist calls from the deep to weary, worn trails of spirits lingering.
