They’re back! Blue Oyster Cult has been thrilling fans of hard rock worldwide for over four decades with powerful albums loaded with classic hits! Indeed, the Long Island, NY-based band is revered within the hard rock and heavy metal scene for its pioneering work. Blue Oyster Cult occupies a unique place in rock history because it’s one if very few hard rock/heavy metal bands to earn both genuine mainstream critical acclaim as well as commercial success. The band is often cited as a major influence by other acts such as Metallica, and BOC was listed in VH1’s countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time. Upon the release of BOC self-titled debut album in 1972, the band was praised for its catchy-yet- heavy music and lyrics that could be provocative, terrifying, funny or ambiguous, often all in the same song.

"Carolyn Wonderland's live shows are top notch, five-stars, off the meter! ... as powerful as a Class 5 hurricane." - Rockzillaworld Magazine

The reigning queen of Austin blues, Carolyn Wonderland sparks fire on guitar and soulful fury in the force of her vocal grit. Since 2011's Peace Meal, reveling in Wonderland's rough and raw Janis Joplin-esque howl and burn-down blues, she's lent her impeccable riffs to a number of albums, including The Stooges' James Williamson's, Re-licked.

In Wonderland's fifth studio album "Moon Goes Missing", the qualities that have cemented her notoriety in the Texas blues and rock scene are on full display. Even with the success of her studio albums, Carolyn shines brightest in live performance, winning legions of fans with her take-no-prisoners approach to the stage.

Start with deep roots in traditional folk music, add musical versatility, mix in both historical and contemporary themes, all seasoned with a healthy dose of good-natured humor, then enjoy a performance by Kevin & Carol Becker with Rich Keyes.

Performing together regularly for over twenty years, Kevin, Carol, and Rich have developed a unique sound that combines breathtaking vocals, instrumental dexterity, and a synergy that comes only from an intimate knowledge of each other's talents. Carol's soaring vocals, clear, bright, and pure, stand out when solo and form compelling harmonies with Kevin's soothing, blending voice. It's all anchored by Rich's solid rhythms on upright bass and his driving bluegrass-influenced banjo. French bass virtuoso François Moutin and adventurous New York vocalist Kavita Shah present "Interplay," their first duo record of jazz standards and original music adapted to this unique instrumentation. Tracks include legendary guests and octogenarians Martial Solal on piano and NEA Jazz Master vocalist Sheila Jordan, on an improvisational journey across lyric-driven and wordless pieces alike.

Virtuosic bassist, Moutin was a member of the legendary Martial Solal Trio, and at 29 began co-leading Quintet Moutin with his twin brother Louis, a project which later evolved into the Moutin Reunion Quartet. www.moutin.com

Vocalist, composer, Shah has been hailed by NPR for her “amazing dexterity for musical languages”, and named Downbeat Best Graduate Jazz Vocalist in 2012, winning the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers Award in 2013. www.kavitashahmusic.com

At the age of 16, Rodney stepped into the drum seat at Patti LaBelle's club, Chez LaBelle. Soon Green was booking musicians like pianist, Orrin Evans and saxophonist Sam Newsome at the club.

Legendary musician, Bobby Watson was so impressed with the young drummer that he called his parents to ask their permission to take Green to Italy with him, and after much persuasion, they agreed.

With a recommendation from bassist, Ben Wolfe, Green joined the band of vocalist Diana Krall at the age of 19. His two-year tenure with Krall taught him a great deal about the business of music.

Today, Rodney Green is a seasoned professional with experience and skill beyond his years. Rodney's new album “Live at Jazzhus Montmartre” in Copenhagen (2017) features Warren Wolf, David Wong and Jacob Christoffersen.

Tenores de Aterúe: Songs of Sardinia and Corsica, Avery Book, Gideon Crevoshay, Carl Linich , Doug PaisleyThe Falcon

Formed in 2007 Tenores de Aterúe has studied and performed traditional songs from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia. The entrancing guttural sounds, overtones, and rhythmic precision of the traditional singing form called cantu a tenore led UNESCO to declare it a “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”. In addition to Sardinian, the quartet also studies and performs Corsican and Italian choral folk music.

The Tenores are the only ensemble outside of Sardinia dedicated to singing cantu a tenore, and have been in-demand performers on stages throughout the US, Canada, and Sardinia. They have appeared on VPR, WFMU NYC, BBC Radio, Sardinia’s Radio Barbagia and TCS Television.

The ensemble released their first studio recording in 2016. Aterúe, the Singers from Elsewhere, a film about the group’s encounters with the living world of cantu a tenore, is scheduled for release in the spring of 2018.
