This world-class 18-piece Big Band features a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and the inimitable talents of drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff. The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more.
Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Greg also performed with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band on the popular disco-era hit " A Fifth of Beethoven". Members of the Swing Band are all professional musicians who've performed in Broadway pits and with numerous industry greats.

| Stan Rogers was a Canadian singer and songwriter who is well-known for his narrative style of song writing chronicling Canada's history and people. He
died tragically at the young age of 33 in a fire aboard an Air Canada flight while returning from a performance at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas. Paul Mills is the Canadian record producer who produced all but one of
Rogers' albums. He met Stan in 1970 in London, Ontario and they became close friends. Stan's first album, Fogarty's Cove was financed by Mitch Podolak,
the founder of the Winnipeg Folk Festival and it was produced by Mills in 1975. Paul and Stan collaborated on 4 more albums before Stan's tragic death in 1983. After Stan died, Paul worked with his widow, Ariel Rogers to keep Stan's music alive. Four more albums were released including a concert recording, a collection of previously unreleased material and a "Best of" collection. In 2012, Paul remastered the 5 albums Stan had recorded during his life. |

 Phoebe Nir is a Presidential Scholar of the Arts in Writing and was nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize for Literary Fiction. Her work in musical theatre has been showcased in many NYC venues and she is developing an original musical theater adventure trilogy, "Diana & Navy & The Golden Tooth", with composer Tomás Doncker. She released her debut pop EP "Side Hustle" through True Groove Records. She was recently featured in an SXSW showcase, opening for James Chance & The Contortions and The Modern English.
DANA LYONS: Best known for his Earth2Trump tour and global comedy hit “Cows With Guns” which went to #2 on Australia’s Country Charts and remained on Ireland’s Top 40 for six months. Singer, guitarist and recording artist, Dana has toured the world promoting environmental and social justice. He performs at festivals ranging from Farm Aid with Willie Nelson and Neil Young, to the Harley Davidson Festival in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Teachers (listed below) participating in the Alternative Guitar Summit Camp, which is happening June 6-9 at Full Moon Resort, will perform a combined concert of rock, jazz, funk and free improvisation at Woodstock’s Colony, accompanied by Harvey Sorgen (dr) and Stephen Rust (bs). Cover charge is $15. It's an unprecedented Woodstock-based gathering of singular, inventive guitarists, some of whom are world-renowned, modeled after events Joel Harrison has been producing in NYC for 7 years. Participants will play in various combinations, solo, duo and ensemble.

Vito Luizzi, the drummer for the Johnny Winter band for more than 20 years, is now a member of the Joe Nott Band.

 World-class musician and woodwind player Charlie Lagond has worked professionally for over 35 years, performing around the world with his own bands as well as alongside renowned artists Chet Baker, Buddy Rich, Chuck Mangione, The Jackson Five, the Temptations, Natalie Cole, and Kid Creole & the Coconuts, with whom he has performed at several presidential inaugural balls.
To inspire and promote his passion and vitality in a new generation, Charlie also founded a unique musical program, the prestigious Lagond School of Music.
The Charlie Lagond Band includes Charlie on sax, Seth Glassman on bass, Nicky Barbato on guitar, Elena Bonomo on drums, and Kerryn Prieto on vocals.
