 An intimate night of songwriting and pop rock ’n roll as Frank Migliorelli performs songs from his new album Bass, Drums Guitars and Organs. Released this past month, the album has been featured on WFUV’s Mixed Bag program, WDST’s Locally Grown Show in Woodstock, and has received strong reviews across the blogosphere. Glide Magazine says "Migliorelli and company have produced a winner in the vein of Tom Petty’s Wildflowers or early Wilco efforts.” Music blogger Michal Doherty says the album is a collection of “...delicious pop tunes, with a bit of country, a bit of rock and roll, some good lyrics and plenty of positive vibes. It’s all fairly straightforward, and it’s that approach wherein lies its charm.”
Frank's songwriting has been recognized by a number of national and international song writing competitions, with an honorable mention from American Songwriter magazine. He and his musical guests will bring you a bit of AM radio 1960s pop, some twang, and some serious soul.

 Annette A. Aguilar (multi-percussionist, Band leader recording artist, producer and educator.) was born in San Francisco into a family from Nicaragua.
At the age of 16 she was sitting in and performing with renowned Latin artists from Santana, Cal Tjader and Pete and Sheila Escovedo (Sheila E).
Annette has toured internationally and has performed and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, The Grateful Dead, Darlene Love, Jefferson airplane, The Four Tops, Tito Puente, Dave Valentine, Ray Brown, and Mose Allison, among others.
She also has toured with Grammy award winning Broadway shows, has recorded for T.V. and film, and has been the principal timpanist for the Bronx Symphony since 1997.
In 1992, Annette formed her Afro-Cuban, Latin Jazz group, Annette A. Aguilar & StringBeans."

 Melissa Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show.
For several years, her popularity grew around such memorable originals as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs,” and “Ain’t It Heavy,” for which she won a Grammy in 1992. “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing from her fourth album, Yes I Am (1993), brought Etheridge her second Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Performance. In 1995, Etheridge issued her highest charting album, Your Little Secret, distinguished by the hit single “I Want to Come Over.”
Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, Etheridge has remained one of America’s favorite female singer-songwriters for more than two decades. Do not miss Melissa Etheridge accompanied by a full band at the Paramount Theater on April 29th!

 Key of Q, the Hudson Valley’s LGBTQ and Allied A Cappella Chorus, will present its Spring 2017 Concert, “Finding Home” at 7 pm on Saturday, April 29th at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Center, 300 Wall St., Kingston NY, and at 3pm on Sunday, April 30th at the Morton Memorial Library, 82 Kelly St, Rhinecliff NY. This upbeat group of singers will perform contemporary pop and folk/rock tunes --among them, music from Cyndi Lauper, Phillip Phillips, Tears for Fears and more!
All are welcome! Doors open at 6:30pm Saturday and at 2:30pm Sunday. Light refreshments will be served following the performance. Admission is a suggested donation of $10, though no one is turned away for a lack of funds. For more information: www.keyofq.org

 Marc's original music is influenced by folk, funk & blues, with a few choice cover songs woven in. As one reviewer wrote: "If you haven't seen Marc Von Em perform live, you're only cheating yourself."
Marc is able to create amazing amounts of sound and diversity through his voice and one faithful guitar. His chops are wide-ranging, from delicate finger picking to rambunctious Pete Townsend-type strumming. Marc is able to seamlessly switch his vibe -- his dynamic voice can go from smooth & soaring to smoky scatting. His harmonica playing is equally impressive and he sometimes uses it to accompany Muddy Waters-style blues on guitar.
Just off his 3rd tour with The Rob Thomas Band -- this year with the famed '90s band, Counting Crows -- Marc Von Em receives raves reviews wherever he plays. Rob Thomas wrote, "... when I heard his original stuff, I asked [Marc] to open up a 10,000 seat gig. Just him, his guitar, and his songs. He killed it!"

| Award Winning songwriter Dan Weber has been described as “The Classic Mid-Life Overnight Sensation.” A gifted storyteller & engaging performer, Weber won the prestigious Winfield NewSong contest for his tribute to Woody Guthrie & is a rare 3 time finalist in the legendary Kerrville New Folk contest. An ex-Park Ranger, Eagle Scout, Altar boy and lifelong ‘Deadhead’, he left his Rochester, NY hometown in 1989 in a beat-up ‘78 Pontiac Trans-Am with ‘a guy named Joe’ he’d met in a bar the night before, and never looked back. Weber began performing later in life but quickly won over audiences with his upbeat performances and off-the-cuff hilarious stories from the many roads he’s traveled. Andrea McFarland, a fiddle and accordion player, hosts this session along with Jonathan Pazer on flute and percussion. 
This is a FREE, family friendly Open Mic at a Saloon/Restaurant. All talent levels and ages are welcome. Bring your instrument of choice and you can play solo or join in with anyone you like. The length of time you get to play depends upon the number of musicians that show up that night. There will be a full drum set and several amplifiers available for use. Singers are also welcome and the house band will try to learn any song requested. You won't find a friendlier Open Mic in the Hudson Valley.
Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester.
