Darlene Love’s thunderbolt voice is as embedded in the history of rock & roll as Eric Clapton’s guitar or Bob Dylan’s Lyrics.” - The New York Times Darlene Love’s Love for the Holidays returns to the Paramount Theater! Rolling Stone Magazine calls her “One of the greatest singers of all time.” Darlene Love has had an amazing long career that culminated in her enshrinement in the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. At the 86th Academy Awards, Darlene received a standing ovation on behalf of all of the performers in the winning film Twenty Feet from Stardom. A Grammy Award for Best Music Film soon followed. Darlene’s background vocals as lead singer for the Blossoms behind musical legends such as Marvin Gaye, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra (to name a few) set the stage for her emergence as a star in her own right. Her Billboard hits include: “He’s A Rebel,” “The Boy I’m Gonna Marry,” “He’s Sure the Boy I Love,” and the #1 holiday classic “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”
