Johnny & The Alimonies ... is a Band performing Rock (classic), Rock (50's-60's), and Rock (modern) music.
We mix it up pretty good doing a lot of Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Neil Young among many others. We have been playing together since 96' and have had a lot of fun doing it. We have played gigs and weddings and just about any party you came name. We do it for pure fun and pleasure and thats it. We love to play pure and simple and love to entertain and that has always been our motto. We got this name from a friend of ours who owned a bar and wanted us to play for his Halloween party..we had no name at the time because we were just kicking it around. Our buddy's name was John and he was going through his 3rd divorce so in a well lubricated moment he said why don't you just call yourselves "Johnny & The Alimonies!! The name stuck and as life does indeed imitate art, the 4 of us in the band did get divorced!!!
