Charley and Bernie (Charles Montgomery and Bernard Rumney) have been playing together for the past 9 years, first with “BBC” (Bernie, Bill Therrien and Charley), then with “Something Different” (Hiram Robles, Bernie and Charley) and the latest incarnation is known as "Charles and Bernard" with –you guessed it – Charley and Bernie. Based out of the Hudson Valley, this home-grown musical duo combines a laid-back acoustic feel of mostly original tunes by Charley,Bernard Rumney greatly enhanced by Bernie’s inventive mandolin and harmonica riffs, with a sprinkling of covers, resulting in an original style with a range of meditative moods to an upbeat energetic rhythm. Through their endless love of music, it is their hope that their tunes will continue to reach the hearts and minds of fans everywhere. Check them out! You'll be glad you did!
